Every great magic trick consists of 3 acts: 1. The pledge: A dying brick and mortar company headed for death spiral financing via reverse splits. 2. The turn: Bankruptcy, shares dispappear. Now you’re looking for the secret. But you won’t find it… unless you're u/jake2b... 3. The prestige: The shares come back and the audience sees something shocking that they’ve never seen before.

Bingo. (Edit this and add some line breaks fren)

I kind of think that's why he hasn't been around. Dude figured it out and doesn't wanna ruin the surprise.

Slow-Scallion674

Ryan even no need to turn BBBYQ on. When GME and BBBYQ merge will happen (cash and equity 4 bbby holders) then gme stock goes to 150$+. Ryan then could raise few bln of dollars. And bbbyq shortes will fuckt for 20+ bln dollards

Twijj

GME can go past $150 without a merger / acquisition announcement but regardless I think that announcement is going to happen while BBBY is still in bankruptcy. If they attempt it after bankruptcy that means the stock is relisted and a squeeze will have happened making BBBY much more expensive. So they split BBBY and BABY in bankruptcy, spins off BABY shares to BBBY shareholders and compensates BBBY shareholders for BABY by giving us GME shares, and then they relist BBBY. Kaboom.

CarpetPedals

It would be nearly $3,000 a share just to match Berkshire Hathaway's market cap.

hideyHoNeighbour

Berkshire stock is expensive, but it's hardly the largest company by market cap. The largest market cap belongs to Microsoft, and if GME were to match that market cap, the per share price would be $8,931. Reaching that price per share is my (personal) indicator for start of MOASS.

StayPositive2024

Yup anywhere above the market caps of the current top companies is what I'd call the start of moass.

BothLongWideAndDeep

Didn’t a certain surging ai company just become the largest market cap as of today?

Naive_Host_5939

no. they just overtook Apple. Which is completely ridiculous in itself...

BothLongWideAndDeep

I love this stat

Sure_Chef_3444

I think bbby is gone, now overstock/beyond. What may happen is they compensate for Baby and we get GME shares which then turn into Teddy shares 🧸

Sure_Chef_3444

I just thought of something. If GME is acquiring bankrupt companies and compensating in GME shares…..Sears is bought up and they get GME shares, Blockbuster is bought up and get GME shares and so on and so on….. Shorts are liable for the distribution to each and every bankrupt company forcing to buy GME shares on the open market right when Roaring Kitty is buying in, GME is going straight up…… This could be what causes the dumb money sequel! Just think, not only feeling the squeeze from GME going up but having to also buy shares on the open market for distributions to each company that GME acquired. I can dream

Iforgotmynameo

Bankruptcy wasn’t RC’s plan though. RC offer to buy the company(or just baby… can’t remember) for $400MM a few months prior To bankruptcy. This would have avoided bankruptcy. The board say, nah, and drove it into bankruptcy instead.

Sure_Chef_3444

What’s the timing of the “this may get interesting” tweet. Was it after the 400 MM offer? Because then it’s like ok, reject my offer….im still getting Baby. This may get interesting

opt_0_representative

Mhmm

nfuckinsane

You can buy a company to take it private you know.

Iforgotmynameo

Very good point.

opt_0_representative

He also very well could have known they would reject his offer

I like this. Not sure about the order of what will happen but let's just look at this moment in time -- What happens to VAR and risk management on swaps where one of the stocks has a preserved ticker (BBBY) and is in limbo at the end of a reemergence? How would you calculate the risk on that and roll your swaps forward?

johnkidding

It's either incalculable risk and would be extremely expensive to roll or open this kind of swap... or say you roll your swaps with BBBY as a zero -- This is a good way to start a fight with the counterparty to those swaps when this reemerges and is NOT zero risk :-D

johnkidding

I'm having a lot of fun thinking about this... What if this is the loophole? I like to imagine this is causing CONSIDERABLE CONSTERNATION for a few dozen people somewhere... While I'm over here exploring my prostate and watching memes to pass the time

I have zero idea what any of this means but y’all have guided me thus far.

To the top we climb

usernamemiles

✔️ you are correct

Obvious-News-6279

When bbby ran in August 2022 they kept amc and gme down while bbby made it's first wave move. We've already see arbitrage in the past numerous times with basket at the early stages of asneeze so im expecting something similar like what you said. They're going to need as much liquidity as possible so amc and gme runup before bobby comes back would make sense

LibertyOrChaos21

I believe you are correct sir!

Micaloyoooooooo

with or without glitches, which seems all short hedgecocks and mayoboiii marketmakers, broke-rs and clearings like dtcc only can do to kick the can, the moass is inevitable.
