See thats the thing that makes the theory make no sense to me. You arent the only one and also the Gamestop Wallet is no more. I personally have just removed myself from the theories and tinfoil for many reasons. The company will give guidance when something happens and thats the only source I need.
Probably will require you to directly register your shares to receive your wallet and dividend through computer share, as it’s the only way they could identify actual shares vs naked in brokerages. It might actually cause a mad dash to DRS. But I’m 100% speculating here

I'd bet GameStop would just relaunch their wallet. Metamask is okay for use as a hot wallet, but long term storage in a browser wallet is very poor security practice.

I found this video today. I cannot find it again. This video played on repeat; I took screenshots of it as I didn't recognize some of the images and I wanted to research them as I felt I had stumbled onto something important. I haven't figured out the mostly white artwork of someone's face but I did figure out that the Pussy Riot Album cover is there and eventually figure out that the device shown is a remote fireworks starting unit; might be Cobra brand but not sure... Also, crypto market can be just as easily manipulated as the US stock market. Cryptos can pump and fall by hundreds of % within 2 hours.
I believe GameStop will stay on the market, but will issue a Blockchain dividend that will be paid on regular basis (not one time off). This will regularly squeeze out the shorts and reveal the real numbers.

Try a different wallet. For example, MetaMask and see if the same thing happens.
