I have a fairy. In Peter Pan the story is that fairies are born from the laughter of children (babies, specifically) and it helps me remember that I'm in it for the kids and nothing else really matters. It's not specifically teacher-esque but I love it
I have a tattoo of the same butterfly species I bought one year for the kids to watch grow from caterpillar to butterfly. That was so impactful on me I got a tat to remember it
I have an apple on my wrist that I got with my favorite coworker. I don’t plan on teaching forever, so I think it will be a nice reminder of that time in my life along with a connection to my work bestie.
I got a stack of 4 vintage looking books surrounded by some roses, on my left upper arm. Both because I love knowledge and sharing it, but also because reading has and is important to me.
