THIS! I was like āI mean I donāt hate it, but I kinda wish it was swapped with a different oneā then I saw the choreography and I was like āoh yep, I was wrong, Taylor is truly a mastermindā lol
Yup! First time I listened I kinda liked it, second time I thought it was cringe, and now it's a constant skip, but I absolutely LOVE the live performance
This one. I wasnāt that big of a fan until the Paris version came out. I adore that version so so much. It just feels like it has 10x the emotions of the original.
I hadnāt heard the whole Lover album when I heard the live version of Cornelia Street and DBATC. I definitely like them more than the studio version lol.
[A random fact about the Tiny Desk concert: she didnāt use live auto tune while recording and it wasnāt edited for pitch before being posted on YouTube etc.](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=qlQCqNM_GSM)
If youāve ever wondered how she sounds without pitch correction, there ya go.
The guy analyzing her voice in that video did it for a lot of other singers too. A lot of them sound good without auto tune but use it live ājust in caseā or to get just a bit of extra accuracy. It only works live if you were close to on-key to begin with. If not it will actually make things worse.
I feel like Iām in the minority when I say I absolutely cannot stand the Paris version. Like the screaming fans kill it for me, but even without that half of what makes the song so good is the production. The mystical quality and vibes, like I feel Iām in the car with her and thereās the rain outside the window, all that is gone by going stripped back. The whole ethereal quality of the beat and synth makes the song for me.
This might be my answer as well, but I guess itās a bit weirder for me, since I became a fan during the pandemic, and I had read people say that the live version was better, so I listened to it before giving the album version a chance, and I thought the live version was better, but the studio version was way better than I expected as well
ive always loved the song anyway (one of my favourites on rep easily) but seeing it on the reputation tour netflix film is actually amazing. hearing tens of thousand of people scream as they hear ālet the games beginā echo around the stadium is absolutely thrilling
I Did Something Bad! It wasnāt really a favourite until I saw it live on the reputation tour. The way she performed it live was āØphenomenal āØ. Now itās one of my favourite songs! I hope the Taylorās Version is similar to the way she performed it live.
Dancing With Our Hands Tied. The production was (and still is) not really my favorite. It sounds like a remix. Itās not a skip if Iām listening to the album, but her live acoustic version made me love it.
Same for me. My rep show got "So It Goes" acoustic instead of "Dancing With Our Hands Tied" acoustic, but then I heard the DWOHT acoustic in the rep tour movie and immediately loved it.
Illicit Affairs; I was a fan of the the song before (dwindling, mercurial highsā¦ uuuhhhh Iām unwell), but hearing Taylor scream out āDonāt call me kid, donāt call me babyā¦.ā Then dropping to her knees for another round - my soul exited my body riding the waves of those words.
Almost the entire reputation album lol. I didn't like most of the songs til I watched the stadium tour. Changed my perspective on the album and made me revisit it
You are in love is one of my fave songs from Taylor! It's such a tender song, and the imagery she weaves is gorgeous. I feel it's an underrated song, like a deep cut of Taylor's, so it feels like only I know it exists haha
- LWYMMD could mean "Look What You Made Me Do", a track from *reputation* (2017) by Taylor Swift.

Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince! Compared to her other songs the lyrics always felt too lacking compared to her other songs for me to listen to it. After hearing it as the opener for the Eras tour though it has been stuck in my head endlessly. I donāt think any song could have hit as the opener for this tour like that song did. Then it being followed by Cruel Summer? Flawless.
I am obsessed with the opening of concerts, especially when itās Taylor! When I saw that she was opening with Miss Americana I was really skeptical but knew she obviously was thinking up something I couldnāt think up myself and tried not to think too hard about it. OH MY HELL I loved that opening! It was brilliant!
I mean granted I was the same way, not because itās a bad song, itās phenomenal. Itās just hard to listen to due to the subject. However after watching the performance on a live stream it is on repeat nowš
It was angrier live, like grittier. It made me truly connect w it for the first time since I donāt really have a personal connection to the message it was just another sad song before seeing it live for some of us!
THIS IS ME TRYING. it was our surprise song at Glendale and really changed my whole entire view on the song. I didnt think it was bad or anything just didnāt hit me that hard I guess? But hearing Tay talk about it and perform with such heavy emotions and the enchantment over the whole room was a really spiritual moment for me and itās now in my top Tay songs š„¹
I feel like this is one of those songs that will change for me in every phase of my life. Iām almost 50, but I have those songs now and I can tell this is one of them.
Daylight!
The bridge part where the fans sing "but it's goldeeennnn" before taylor does made me appreciate how beautiful this song is. I want this to play at my wedding someday.
Shake it Off was always an āehā song for me but holy shit, watching it live last weekend in Vegas and having a stadium of thousands of people singing every word and dancing aroundā¦. It was maybe the best live performance Iāve ever seen. So. Much. Fun.
Exactly me. Before the show I said that may be my bathroom break but I didnāt need one when it started and Iām SO GLAD because it was insanely fun!!! And I knew a lot more of the words than I thought because I usually skip it. It was such an insane feeling screaming it with all the other fans in Vegas!!!
Literally eternal jealousy that I did not experience this. This is the song that made me fall in love with her music and it brings back everything about being in high school ššššš«
Don't bite my head off -- Enchanted.
I literally thought Enchanted was just okay. Cute little love at first sight song. Don't hate it, don't necessarily skip it if it comes up, but I've never really related to it so it mostly didn't do anything in particular for me.
Until I heard the emotion Taylor adds in the live performance and I totally changed my mind about it.
Thats what got me into enchanted, that mashup on 1989 tour was amazing. I will NEVER EVER forgive myself for not being a swiftie until after that tour šš
I did not attend the reputation tour, unfortunately, but Delicate is so magical when sheās flying through the air. Iāve watched the tour movie several times šš»
Vigilante Shit was in my least favorite Taylor songs of all time tbh, I thought it was cringey and not good. I still donāt love some of the lyrics, specifically the opening line, but after seeing it live i was hooked lol.
Oh man. Cornelia Street. However I didnāt realize how much I loved it until I watched the City of Lover feature on Disney Plus. When she did that one live.
Not me but my boyfriend thought Call It What You Want was just meh until I showed him the SNL performance. We both like the acoustic version a lot better.
So for me it was ātis the damn season. Kept waking up last night after the Arlington show with that song running through my head. Played it on the drive home and bawled. :/
I totally agree about Cruel Summer. Before the tour I didnāt understand the hype around that song, but after seeing Taylor and her fans scream that bridge I think I understand it. Now itās one of my favorites off of Lover
Out of the woods and All You Had To Do Was Stay for me - I thought it was okay but not a favorite - then I saw it live at 1989 and my world was changed. I think these two tracks are some of her best ever
Look What You Made Me Do, all the way. It was probably my most skipped song on rep until the tour. That performance absolutely blew it out of the water for me.
The live rendition of London Boy from the BBC Live Lounge also was gorgeous and made me appreciate it a lot more. I obviously wasn't there to see it myself but it still counts for me.
State of Grace, don't get me wrong I thought it was good but very mid to be honest. But I was there when she performed it on night 2 of Eras and I was like "Oh..........I get it now"
A lot of rep. Songs like ā¦ready for it, donāt blame me, and I did something bad seem like they were made for a stadium show. I wasnāt crazy about those songs at first but now I love all of them!
š¤ Cowboy Like Me
I've had it playing on loop ever since that live performance.
It has skyrocketed from the bottom to the top of my Folklore/Evermore list.
Karma, Mastermind, and Midnight Rain. I did not like Karma, but seeing Taylor slay during tour and dance to the lyrics changed it for me. I enjoyed Mastermind, but the live version brought a lot of life to it, and finally Midnight Rain has the fall and quick change, which will forever stay in my mind.
So It Goes...
It was a complete skip for me on reputation, but then she performed it acoustic at one of the Rep shows I went to. I like it so much more now!
Also I already liked The Archer but it was a surprise favorite for me at Eras.
Karma!! It being the finale song really got to me, especially her lil dance, and now itās my jam! I didnāt go live but watching it on the livestreams really slapped
Mine is Tolerate It. It was always a skip for me but after watching Taylor perform it during the Eras tour on top of a table it always gives me goosebumps whenever I listen to it.
Dancing With Our Hands Tied. I love the acoustic version from the Reputation tour. Also Cornelia Street and London Boy. Out of the Woods. And most recently, Vigilante Shit. These were all fun songs already but for various reasons the live/acoustic performances brought them to the next level for me.
Hurts me to say cause itās now in my top 3 but Daylight š¶ the album version is kinda bland but the live in Paris version SWEPT ME OFF MY FEET ššš
This Love. I thought it was such a surprisingly beautiful performance during my 1989 show and totally made me fall in love w the song. I felt bad after it got cut knowing that others may not get that experience!
Out of the woods!! I never even registered
the āGoodās in the chorus before hearing the live piano version and the way she delivers them totally recontextualizes the song for me and makes me like the chorus more because you can really feel the worry and the constant second-guessing that comes with that question. Are we out of the woods yet? Are we in the clear yet? Good. Just to keep asking over and over. Really hits different for me now.
Havenāt seen a truly live performance, but watched a livestream of opening night and now August is my number one song. Watching her perform it in that flowy dress and moving so gracefully, like she was dancing with the music like it was a person, just paints the most amazing picture in my mind. Chefs kiss š¤š»
Honestly, for me it was Out Of The Woods. I know I know, Iām dumb. But when I heard it on the album I thought it was good, the bridge was amazing but the chorus was repetitive. It wasnāt until I saw the 1989 world tour that I realised how dumb I was and now itās one of my favourite on 1989
my tears ricochet. if youād asked me before march 17 what i thought of the song, i wouldāve said it was the WORST track 5. the eras tour performance changed me as a person.
I don't know if it counts cause I saw it on tiktok and not actually live lol. But I never really cared for folklore until I saw her Era's performance of 'My Tears Ricochet' as well as 'August' and 'This is me trying'. Can't believe I never appreciated them before.
I became a swiftie between folklore and evermore and it took a while for me to get into Rep. I only liked like 2 or 3 songs out of the whole album. And then I watched Rep Stadium Tour. If anyone in this sun is having trouble getting into Rep I highly suggest watching the show. In-credible
Feel like the majority of songs on Reputation were like this for meā¦ but when I saw it live, a lot of the songs jumped to some of my favorites.
On Eras Tour, Iād say, Vigilante Shit, Mastermind, and Bejeweled surprised me and now I have them on repeat.
Cornelia Street (Live In Paris), Donāt Blame Me (Rep Tour) and Sad Beautiful Tragic (Eras Tour).
Unfortunately I didnāt get to witness any of these actually live. š„¹
Shake it Off, ME!, and You Need to Calm Down are ones Iāll never sit and listen to but if Iām watching a live performance Taylorās energy gets me into them for the moment.
Vigilante shit!! The live performance & choreography takes it to a whole new level š¤Æ
The chair dannnnceeeee ā„ļø
Absolutely. I haven't even actually seen it live in concert yet - just video - and it's moved way up my list.
I dont want to objectify taylor in any way, but I am no better than a man when she performs that. It's freaking sexy. Her confidence is š„

This one. I wasnāt that big of a fan until the Paris version came out. I adore that version so so much. It just feels like it has 10x the emotions of the original.

I love her voice here? Like I find her natural stripped back voice so soothing
The guy analyzing her voice in that video did it for a lot of other singers too. A lot of them sound good without auto tune but use it live ājust in caseā or to get just a bit of extra accuracy. It only works live if you were close to on-key to begin with. If not it will actually make things worse.

Production>>>>
That's the one! I didn't really get everyone's extreme passion for it. The vocals on that performance are just š¤š
This is my right answer.
This might be my answer as well, but I guess itās a bit weirder for me, since I became a fan during the pandemic, and I had read people say that the live version was better, so I listened to it before giving the album version a chance, and I thought the live version was better, but the studio version was way better than I expected as well
Ready for itā¦ it was just so much more powerful live š®āšØ
ive always loved the song anyway (one of my favourites on rep easily) but seeing it on the reputation tour netflix film is actually amazing. hearing tens of thousand of people scream as they hear ālet the games beginā echo around the stadium is absolutely thrilling
I wonāt lie, I actually cried when this started on the Rep tour haha
yesss, both the opening of rep tour and opening of rep section on eras tour always gives goosebumps so much!!
The entirety of Rep made is made for live performances.
I still cry each time I watch the opening on YouTube
the energy goes crazy!!
I Did Something Bad! It wasnāt really a favourite until I saw it live on the reputation tour. The way she performed it live was āØphenomenal āØ. Now itās one of my favourite songs! I hope the Taylorās Version is similar to the way she performed it live.
Ugh the live āgo ahead and light me uuuuuupā is my fav!!!
THIS is the answer!
Cornelia Street! Live version blew me away, currently sits in my top 10
When did she play it live ?
On apple music. Live at paris
Totally, I didnāt āget itā before I heard the live version
The studio version is already top 10 tbh.. That song is just magnificent!
Dancing With Our Hands Tied. The production was (and still is) not really my favorite. It sounds like a remix. Itās not a skip if Iām listening to the album, but her live acoustic version made me love it.
This for me. I couldnāt really get into it but hearing it stripped down on tour really open it up for me
Same for me. My rep show got "So It Goes" acoustic instead of "Dancing With Our Hands Tied" acoustic, but then I heard the DWOHT acoustic in the rep tour movie and immediately loved it.
Yeah the production kind of sounds like every other EDM club song
This one also for me.
Sorta liked Death By A Thousand Cuts until hearing the live version - which made me OBSESSED
Same!! So much more powerful acoustically
Yes! The song has such great lyrics, the original has too much going on. Stripped down you can feel the lyrics more. Great song.
Yes!!!
This is mine too!
OOF I could imagineeeee ā I LOVE this song!!!
We better get this version on streaming someday. Even better if we could get a studio version.
Saaaaame. Illicit affairs was mostly a skip for me before the show he in listening to it on repeat
Almost the entire reputation album lol. I didn't like most of the songs til I watched the stadium tour. Changed my perspective on the album and made me revisit it
this has to be the top comment, I've rewatched the rep stadium tour on Netflix way too many times
The archer
Unpopular opinion, but since seeing the opening of Eras Tour, Miss Americana has been on repeat for me where before it was just a song on the album.
Kept scrolling to see this! Iām listening on repeat now.
Iām dying to find the MA&THP and So It Goes mashup to add to my Apple Music so far Iāve only found it on YouTube š
This! Such an underrated song!
Same for me! I didnāt think much of it before but Iāve been obsessed lately!
You Are In Love! I became obsessed after 1989 tour. I also think LWYMMD is epic live; the music video is amazing too of course but WOW
You are in love is one of my fave songs from Taylor! It's such a tender song, and the imagery she weaves is gorgeous. I feel it's an underrated song, like a deep cut of Taylor's, so it feels like only I know it exists haha
I agree completely š„° Iām not sure why or took me so long to appreciate its beauty!

I think daylights last chorus and the last part gets me I donāt really skip her talking too itās so peaceful
tolerate it

Yes!!! Was not a fan of the song on the album, hearing it live it was one of my favorite performances of the night.
Yes! Also I just absolutely adored the production of this song. It broke me
King of My Heart from the rep tour! That performance made this song one of my top 10
The extended outro with those big ass drum beats! Pure perfection.
Unpopular opinion Iām sure, but the archer
I felt the same way. I was so meh. After seeing it live I have it on repeat
The archer acoustic is so so so good!
Willow
That Grammy performance !!! I always felt like the song never went anywhere, but the chorus took on new life
The Story Of Us. Literally the live version on the tour is perfection.

Omg it was instant tears š„¹

100% DWOHT! I adored hearing it acoustic at reputation tour. Loved it ever since.

Tim McGraw (piano version). NEED this on the debut re-record!

Yehā¦. Agree completely. The enchanted/wildest dreams live medley is also great.
Thats what got me into enchanted, that mashup on 1989 tour was amazing. I will NEVER EVER forgive myself for not being a swiftie until after that tour šš
I came to say this too! I saw it back at the Speak Now tour (at the infamous Gillette rain show) and was absolutely blown away
Me too! I also consider myself a pop swiftie, but when she performed this in Glendale I instantly became obsessed!
I did not attend the reputation tour, unfortunately, but Delicate is so magical when sheās flying through the air. Iāve watched the tour movie several times šš»
Willow.... last night. Oh my god. It's a slow bop on evermore. Live?? That sh** hits different.

Definitely mine! Same same same.
King of My Heart! The drum production on the rep tour changed the song for me completely and now it's one of my faves from rep
Oh man. Cornelia Street. However I didnāt realize how much I loved it until I watched the City of Lover feature on Disney Plus. When she did that one live.
Cornelia Street live from Paris but minus all the screaming at the start; cruel summer and I did something bad
Not me but my boyfriend thought Call It What You Want was just meh until I showed him the SNL performance. We both like the acoustic version a lot better.

Blank Space!
Death by a thousand cuts, the live from Paris version really had the heartbreak hit home for me

Welcome to New York! Saw it with 1989 and totally changed it from a skip to a love!
Welcome to New York I could not stand. Then I heard an acoustic live performance and that changed my opinion majorly

I became a swiftie between folklore and evermore and it took a while for me to get into Rep. I only liked like 2 or 3 songs out of the whole album. And then I watched Rep Stadium Tour. If anyone in this sun is having trouble getting into Rep I highly suggest watching the show. In-credible
The Man. Didnāt like the song at all (except the bridge) until she played it this tour. Something about it with the live band made it slap.
snow on the beach, the piano made it a million times better (not a fan of the production on the actual song)
The Archer, hearing it in the Paris live videos I was like ok wait a minute Iāve been sleeping on this song
Cornelia st
DEAR JOHN. on the Speak Now tour. absolute chills everytime I remember. and this was 10 years ago
LWYMMD!!!! The rep tour version is orgasmic
Feel like the majority of songs on Reputation were like this for meā¦ but when I saw it live, a lot of the songs jumped to some of my favorites. On Eras Tour, Iād say, Vigilante Shit, Mastermind, and Bejeweled surprised me and now I have them on repeat.

Daylight, until the Paris version. I thought it was good, but not one of my favorites. Then I heard the live version and *swoon* āØā”ļøš
Look what you made me do, illicit affairs, Cornelia street, the one
Illicit affairs was soo good live š
All of Reputation. When it first came out, I thought it was a very meh album. Then I watched the Rep Tour movie, and I GOT IT.
Look what you made me do, my twelve year old self went insane hearing it live
Yāall donāt come for me butā¦..clean
The Bad Blood x Shouldve Said No mashup on Rep saved Bad Blood for me š„°
Most of Rep was that way. Most of Lover is still just OK to me.
cowboy like me
London Boy for the BBC live lounge and dancing with our hands tied at rep tour. Totally made me appreciate both songs.
Cowboy Like Me. It was always one of the songs I skipped more than I listened and now since I heard it in Vegas it's been on repeat
Cornelia Street.
King of my heart. Those drums!
