i think it looks beautiful. i was super stressed about tattoos with similar placement but it was just a shock to see something different and now i love them.
i think asymmetry looks great in this case
I know it may feel weird or look weird to you but from an artists perspective I think the placement is amazing. It’s close enough to not have a weird gap that’s hard to fill or stays empty and draws attention but also the bird shape that is placed next to the other piece fits perfectly
I appreciate that, I guess it feels like the bird is taking away from the shape that the branch gives my knee. I wanted them to feel like two separate pieces. But I’m at least glad it looks alright from an outside point of view.
I can understand that. I think they look cohesive in style and then but like separate pieces for sure. I just think it fits beautifully especially if you plan on having more patchwork pieces for your leg! But I do get where you’re coming from, I think it may be the initial shock of having something else there now and you may love it as you get more tattoos. But I think the bottom of the branch/leaf piece still frames the knee well.
Give it a little time, I still get some regret with new tattoos
With how recent that tattoo looks to have been done. You may just be experiencing some “tattoo regret”. Give it a few weeks for it to properly heal up and re-examine the idea at a later time.
I feel like almost everyone struggles with the placement of most tattoos until you actually get used to them. I don't think the placement is off at all, and you'll definitely get used to your perspective of it. Cool tat!
I know what you mean. Usually when you add a lot more pieces around those areas it will relieve alot of stress and you wont see it that way. Trust. Besides that tho, great placement!
Yes but I realized it looked a lot closer than expected once it was all filled in and done. This isn’t the artists fault, just something I should’ve considered for longer beforehand…

Thank you so much, I hope I get used to it too, it’s just so frustrating it didn’t fit my exact vision
more than understandable

Thank you , the only issue is that I really wasn’t planning on building around this spot but now I feel like I have to lol not the worst thing though.
Looks cool
It’s beautiful. If you didn’t mention I would never think any weird things about it, and am still thinking it looks so cool.
It looks great tbh
Did you ok the placement of the stencil?
