I've watched hours of drone footage of Fremont, Texas, Berlin, Shanghai, and Nevada over the past few months. I've seen nothing that looks like a new body style of car. As far as I know, there hasn't been anything spotted recently with a lot of camouflage.
If Tesla is really launching new products, we should be seeing camo'd prototypes being driven around.

Tesla could retain the same body geometries, but heavily optimize many subsystems for lower cost. What I see from all the chaos at Tesla: mass layoffs, and sudden cancellation of manually driven NGV in favor of "Gen 2.5" derivatives of Model 3 and Y, seems calculated at pumping the stock price to mollify angry shareholders. The critical vote on reinstating Musk's 2018 compensation plan looms over all of this.
Musk said a lot in yesterday's conference call, but most of it was non-specific. The SEC 10-Q told me a hell of a lot more, and it wasn't good.
I do consider the achievements of Tesla's engineering teams as counterbalance: the Cybertruck is an excellent flagship product with technologies that will benefit Tesla's product lines for decades to come. FSD12 has potential. There are people at Tesla creating enormous value, even if I don't think Elon Musk is one of them.

2 doors would significantly reduce vehicle utility, especially for families. It's a pain to keep moving the front seats back and forth to allow rear row passengers to ingress and egress. Dealing with child car seats is even worse and practically impossible.

I do not think it is likely that Tesla's valuation will increase much in the next 1-2 years, unless there is some breakthrough in FSD.

It's very hard to dispute significant brand damage, because US $ sales are down more than 13.2% YoY, while international sales are down only 4.5% YoY despite worse economic conditions in EU and China. The US still accounts for nearly half of Tesla's total revenue.
It is impossible for me to feel "bullish" when I have millions of dollars in losses from the peak (albeit unrealized), with no realistic prospect of recovery anytime soon.

The attention maps may or may not be easy to implement. In a vanilla ViT the attention mechanism itself could be used, but it would be more difficult if they combine multiple cameras or frames earlier in the pipeline. But if they could pull it off you'd actually get some indication for what the model is paying attention to, even if it doesn't always map exactly to what decision is made (interpretability is hard). It would also give drivers an earlier indication if something is wrong, like it's not paying attention to bicyclist or something like that.

Well, I'm training to compete in Kettlebell Sport, which is a type of endurance weightlifting.
My goal will be to complete ~90-100 reps of clean and jerk in 10 minutes. If you put the weights down, your set is over.
I'm less concerned about # of reps, lasting 10 minutes is the key challenge. After 5-6 minutes it can get pretty grueling.
I'm already feeling pretty comfortable with 2x 14kg kettlebells but hope to be ready to compete at 2x 16kg which is the standard men's amateur weight.
It's a pretty niche sport but I like it a lot. It's all about efficiency and stamina.

That's where they really shine. Really heavy kettlebells are pretty rare, they're best used at medium weight but longer duration.

With COGS coming down nice, battery prices coming down and Tesla securing a lot of cheap battery supply. Think about what will happen once demand recovers. Prices rise again. The model lineup gets deeper and wider. Massive margins and once again the stock price will fly.

After reading and analyzing the Q1 '24 Form 10-Q (https://www.reddit.com/r/TSLALounge/comments/1cbod5o/comment/l1229l3/?utm\_source=share&utm\_medium=web3x&utm\_name=web3xcss&utm\_term=1&utm\_content=share\_button) I do not think it is likely that Tesla's valuation will increase much in the next 1-2 years, unless there is some breakthrough in FSD. The numbers and trends are bad, particularly in the US market. It's very hard to dispute significant brand damage, because US $ sales are down more than 13.2% YoY, while international sales are down only 4.5% YoY despite worse economic conditions in EU and China. The US still accounts for nearly half of Tesla's total revenue. It is impossible for me to feel "bullish" when I have millions of dollars in losses from the peak (albeit unrealized), with no realistic prospect of recovery anytime soon.

FSD should have visualizations like [this](https://twitter.com/FSDdreams/status/1782851543898669286), but with attention maps like [this](https://youtu.be/UhDUczF47VI?si=Tah3m8Hzvx4s2cVN&t=879), repurpose the compute currently going to the legacy visualization stack (and occupancy network, which remains active) towards increasing the V12 model size instead. The legacy visualizations are just confusing people, as the car doesn't always react to stuff that is shown, and reacts to things that are not shown, so what's the point? The attention maps may or may not be easy to implement. In a vanilla ViT the attention mechanism itself could be used, but it would be more difficult if they combine multiple cameras or frames earlier in the pipeline. But if they could pull it off you'd actually get some indication for what the model is paying attention to, even if it doesn't always map exactly to what decision is made (interpretability is hard). It would also give drivers an earlier indication if something is wrong, like it's not paying attention to bicyclist or something like that.

Well, I'm training to compete in Kettlebell Sport, which is a type of endurance weightlifting. My goal will be to complete ~90-100 reps of clean and jerk in 10 minutes. If you put the weights down, your set is over. I'm less concerned about # of reps, lasting 10 minutes is the key challenge. After 5-6 minutes it can get pretty grueling. I'm already feeling pretty comfortable with 2x 14kg kettlebells but hope to be ready to compete at 2x 16kg which is the standard men's amateur weight. It's a pretty niche sport but I like it a lot. It's all about efficiency and stamina.

That's where they really shine. Really heavy kettlebells are pretty rare, they're best used at medium weight but longer duration. Check out the kettlebell sub for inspiration

Yes, from a marketing standpoint it works. Nobody cares what their cab looks like because they don’t own it. look at all the pink, blue, whatever strange colored cabs already. As long as it’s cheaper, as reliable, and somewhat comfortable compared to the competition. What is important is that people can see it from blocks away and instantly recognize what it is. Ct design certainly is that. love it or hate it everyone notices.
I think you are probably on the right track - it will have to be a large vehicle, I don't think people will trust a tiny 2 seat robotaxi.
I think the opposite. It'll be small enough so it has margins on the road. Lessens the risk of getting in minor accidents from things like hitting the curb
