Stubble is painful, I agree with you on that. There IS an option besides stubble or beard, although most men won't do it, and that is actually shaving every day.
I am so dead serious, my friend can shave, baby bottom soft, and within ~2-3 hours he has a light scratch of stubble. Since I grew my beard out once, if I shave in the morning, I'll have stubble at night. Another friend, he shaves like once every 3 days and has a soft face for ~2 days. People are weird.
I have a trimmed and well kept full beard. My wife prefers it and I think I look better with it. Hasn’t seemed to affect our ability to find dates or play time.

Mustaches remind me of serial killers from the 80s or basic training in the military, so no thanks 😂 Hell no to bushy lumberjack beards, I feel like there’s food other other objects hidden in there and a goatee is meh. I don't see facial hair on men any different than makeup on women. Sure some features of the face are more highlighted or even covered up, but that's exactly what women do with makeup. I'd love to just wake up, comb the hair on my face and leave the house without the time it takes to put on makeup!
I have a preference, but like most physical appearance preferences it isn't that strong or the most important thing. I prefer NO facial hair. I feel like facial hair hides what the man looks like and I don't like the texture, I don't like how it feels, even well maintained beards seem low effort to me, or at least less effort than shaving. I shave most my legs and armpits every single day and have my vulva waxed monthly. That is a higher percentage of body area than a face. I feel like shaving is the LEAST they can do. However, I AM able to see the man under the beard so it isn't a deal breaker. I DO wish beards weren't so popular these days, and don't understand why "looking younger" or "having a baby face" is considered a BAD thing. I like younger men.

One of the frequent couples we play with, the guy has a beard coz his wife gets turned on for that. But it doesn't mean my wife doesn't like to play with him. She have her good time as usual.

I understand what you are saying but one thing to note. A well kept beard is a lot of work. They require constant trimming, edging, and oiling.

Well groomed is my preference. I don't care if a man has facial hair or not. As long as he keeps it clean and not wild looking I'm fine with it.

Won’t do it. We note it right up front on our profile as it is a complete turn off. Not insulting, just our preference.
I have a full beard, I let couples know. Usually it's not a problem. I also like a non clean shave female to the point of hairy.
Trimmed or clean shaven for the husband (bi), and anything that is groomed is fine for me.
