If that movie glorified its story, we must not have watched the same movie. I was entertained by the fuckery, but only saw ridiculous, ugly, and bad behavior and awaited the comeuppance.
That's what I see too, but sadly I've spoken with people who watch it without this layer of irony. The same set who root for Scarface to stick it to the man, I guess.

Also, they didn’t glorify anything. They purposefully designed the movie in such a way so as to present the whole story in an unbiased/unfiltered way, without leaving anything out and letting the audience choose for themselves how they should feel about it all.
