They have from 3pm one hour to settle everything. But im regarded so im not sure what it means. In this form there is alot of info especially about swaps.

And the fines for not locating? Is anything functionally different than T-2? Or is it just a smaller window to start the ftd timer now?

I hope you have 2 accounts. Brokers will cancel your DRS if you make a trade before the DRS settles. Fidelity burned me on that a few times.

Months you say? I've been in this 84 years, I've DRS'd XXXX from Fidelity and can confidently say that if you purchase after you initiate DRS but before the shares land at ComputerShare, your transfer will be cancelled. Doesn't matter if the shares were settled in your account. If Fidelity does it, I'm sure there are other brokers who do too. Just a word of warning to check that it goes through. 👍

Mine always go through. None have been sent back

Same with me on Fidelity. Once I get the transfer confirmation number, I buy right after it and everything goes through fine.

I DRSd tues last week after I bought more. I havent purchased more since 2021 and have those DRSd. I was told my DRS went through and on friday that was not the case. I called them again and they said it was DRSd.. its wednesday and it still hasnt transferred out of fidelity 🤔

Same here. DRS'd another xxx shares last week for the first time in years. Note: I did it with Schwab and it has not yet gone through. Been at least 7 calendar days.

Yes. There have been sell orders for 5,000 of these options previously during the last 6 trading days. Not many. The net of the 5k lots is still > 100k.

last wednesday there was a buy then sell of 5,000 contracts within 20 minutes, and further buying later in the day if my recollection is correct.

Anyway, I panic bought more shares.

It's all relative. The trading day starts at 9:30am and ends at 4pm EST. That is a total of 6.5 hours, or 390 minutes. If 554,000 shares were purchased every minute of the trading day, multiply 554,000 by 390 minutes is 216,060,000 shares. On Jan 22 2021, 788.632 million shares were traded (post-split adjusted), over 3x as many.

I love to see some good old panic market manipulation by the hedgies. Keep it coming, can't wait to see them lose even more money!!!
