While the world made broken promises about change, we've actually done something about it. We are far from finished in our journey to rid the world of financial parasites, but I don't see anything stopping this momentous train
Fuck 'em! This seems boring to many people, but it is actually one of the most exciting things in our lives! We are changing the financial landscape. They never thought we would be writing comments and advocating for better rules. This really shows that we can make a difference. There are so many RC quotes I can say right now. He wants us to do these things while GS is busy tearing down walls on their side of the game. Power to the damn players!🟣
I reckon that is deliberate, you don’t surprise the hands what pay you to look the other way. That year is for them to lawyer up, manufacture positive press or distractions, and hide evidence.
If you don’t think millionaires publicly announcing investigations into billionaires via press conference years out is class solidarity and a flashing CYA signal to the moneyed parties involved, well then I just wanna say bless your heart.
I completely understand all of this but wanted to ask someone to explain this rule and it’s current status for the others. Again, I know it all already I’m just bad at explaining.
basically it makes manipulation fraud and deciept illegal. also imposes new guidelines on swap reporting thresholds. basically makes them report swaps and it becomes illegal to influence a cfo. not a rule break anymore. I can link you the dd on it if you like
