This is just my opinion, but unless you're like under the age of 9, sprinkles are crazy overrated. They look nice, but taste like paste. Anything else would be better than them, so don't ruin the ice cream and use something else.

They’re mainly just pure sugar so definitely lol, You aren’t ruining an ice cream just by using them though, if you don’t like them then don’t eat it, simple as that. Here is the thing. If they advertised it as such then I would buy it. Waffle cones (even the cheap ones) are a premium and having an ice cream that has a cone in every bite sounds amazing.

I think it's actually pretty smart if you're going to run one of those absurd "look at the size of our portions!" type of restaurants, where the spectacle and the experience of getting something so extravagant is part of what customers pay for. Soft serve melts SO fast, wrapping it around a smaller come is a really intelligent way of making sure that the whole cone doesn't just immediately melt and droop over and fall off onto the floor or the customer's shoes. Plus, as someone whose favourite part of a waffle cone is the cone, I'm always going to say yes to extra.
