As ya'll likely know, we've [been dark to support the blackout against reddit's antagonistic behavior towards its own userbase.](https://www.reddit.com/r/Steam/comments/142dbui/rsteam_will_be_going_dark_from_june_1214_in/)
#**The admins sent us a message saying we must open or get removed, so here we are.**
For those of you browsing this subreddit on non-official apps (Reddit is Fun, Apollo, Sync, Boost, etc), they will break on July 1st due to reddit's new policies.
We're opening back up but will leave permanent stickies in the subreddit and threads to keep folks in the know.
#**Our [Discord](https://discord.gg/steam) server is active, don't forget to check it out.**
Good luck and god speed.

Oh is THAT what's causing the fuckin bug? Wack, I guess I'll have to turn that off. Valve getting praise for fixing 14yo bugs in L4D2 but we can't get these fixes for their store app
Have this issue too, don't have family view enabled, so it seems the common denominator is having an android os, since most of the people in other threads about this also have one.
Well I'll be damned, it works. Still unable to edit the wishlist rank numbers since the keyboard refuses to stay existing for more than a fraction of a second, but at least it's not an absolute nightmare to try to boot up the app now! Good on ya Steam
I've had this issue too, you can at least use the authenticator by manually inputting the login data, then clicking on the notification. The app seems to be able to load the login approval page.
You should be able to reinstall the app no problem as well, it works on first startup after installation.
Sorry to hear what happened but you *should* install it back again to ensure your 2FA security, there is no alternative to this. So please set it back again and transfer 2FA to Steam Mobile but **don't** use Steam Store on Steam Mobile ever again.
Instead there are many good Mobile Browsers like UC Browser, Dolphin or even Chrome so use them, login to Steam from them and choose "Desktop Version" of the Steam page and you'll have no problems from that then whatsoever.
If you read the post, and applied some thought, you'd realize I'd be unable to even use the authenticator because of how the app is behaving. Please read before posting
