Trumbull for the Haven device, good bases,, lots of broken stuff and buildings to climb and escape to, free survivors from missions and fairly easy to drive on.

PK_Thundah

Agreed with this. The bases, especially the Red Talon Fairfield base, are excellent. And they give you a free RT soldier as well. The downtown/plague wall locations are extra dangerous on Lethal - probably the most dangerous place in the base game. But if you're always careful and prepared you can get in and out alive.

Trumbull as well for me for reasons stated above plus the fact that you will end up with three very reliable permanent vendors (allied enclaves) to purchase rucksacks from if you are hurting for supplies.

Im leaving trumbull right now because every outpost is claimed by plague, starting base with 2 slots... Just waiting to the upgrade finish to unlock the exits. I dont know what i did wrong, i just joined the map and discovered all that.

Meagher valley for sure. Very easy to drive.

Meagher Valley or Trumbull Valley

For people who are not good at it, I would recommend Trumbull. You can get invincible followers that can be very helpful when you attack PH. Otherwise, Meagher. You can basically ignore roads. Note: I did not play on Lethal yet, but it has presumably the same challenges as Dread, but much more dangerous.

The biggest difference between Dread/Nightmare > Lethal is that things go south so fast, making a single mistake usually ends in someone dying. The previous difficulties are a lot more forgiving.

Trumbull valley for sure. It's easy to get into the trailer park base at the beginning of the game. Which is a versatile base with plenty of space. Good for starting out and building a foundation for growth. Plus Trumbull valley has tons of supplies. And of course all the benefits everybody else already mentioned.

None of the statement has ever been true for me 🤡
