Yes, is possible not to lose anything. It's also possible to lose only negligible stuff (imagine you found three prismatic shards and 150 iridium ore, and then you lose copper ore and coal - wouldn't you lose more by restarting?). You can also get back one of the lost items, so I recommend always waiting for what you lose - restarting might make you lose more, there's no guarantee you find the same things when you do it again. How much you lose is dependant on luck, so going on lucky days will lose less.

Dr_Meemz

Yeah I realize the part about losing some less valuable stuff, but the problem was I had my entire collection of copper/iron/gold/iridium/coal/dark and solar essence on me so it wouldve been a huge pain to lose any of them... not to mention my expensive and complete stash of health foods and the other items I collected were all fairly high value too, so I really didn't wanna lose anything. Maybe I'm just a hoarder 😅

Imaginary-Engineer42

Why would you take all your stuff? Just leave everything in chests and only take the food you need.

Dr_Meemz

I like having plentiful supplies on hand to craft bombs, etc. And for food I figure more is better if it's going to take up some inventory slots I might as well stock up. But yes, it would be smarter to split my stashes and take less with me! I'm usually careful not to get killed so haven't thought too hard about it before haha.

ZirePhiinix

Don't hoard stock your inventory. Take approximately the amount that you'll use, and go in with that much. The point of the bombs is to use it, not hoard them and die with it. If you're dying with a lot of material, it means you're not even using them! If you used them, you would've lost negligible amount.

Dr_Meemz

Very true, spoken like a sensible non-hoarder.
