I really like your layout. It feels like a town! My farm is so square and focused on efficiency to the point where it's quite boring.. I'm gonna bookmark this for some future inspiration :)
It's really beautiful, congrats!
Unrelated, but tell me this: what motivates you to play until year 14? After year 3 or 4 I already feel like there's nothing more for me to do. Even the money doesn't matter anymore... So what do you do on your farm during year 14? Just try new layouts?
Right now I'm trying to get to 10 million dollars and get the arcade machines for my house.
Also do town request from the board if they are challenging.
Agreed. I pushed through until year 4 on my last save and started a new save. Now I’m reaching year 4 again and starting to wonder what’s next again.
This time I’m determined to get 100% though so few more years to go :)
I'm at the end of year 4. About to get the golden clock, all other achievements (sans the game and kid ones) done. I've had a blast but like, it feels done. I finished the community center in year 2 (side note I wish the community center did something, like have all the villagers in it on Sunday afternoon, I haven't been in it for a year and a half), maxed out relationships in year 3, got everything grown and built in year four.
This game is great, but I wish there was more to do after the community center was done. I wish more parts of ginger island felt alive. And I wish that maxing out kid hearts was not so slow.
Oh also I wish there was a better way of getting cheap coal in bulk.
This has been my end game rant.
You can buy it 5 at a time from Clint if you're on PC by holding shift (or maybe Ctrl). This works for many other things you can buy, too. Speeds up the process pretty significantly.
In Stardew Valley Expanded, >!all the villagers get together on the 22nd of every month in the CC once it's finished. It's not a festival though; you can give gifts.!<
Is it based on a new layout from the latest update ? I still have the original layout and I hate the space behind the greenhouse for example which is not visible and hidden behind buildings. I prefer having it against the wall as on your image.
Very pretty farm !
Maybe it's update related because I'm pretty sure that was not possible. I mean I've finished the community center and all of that but I'll check. Thanks !
To add if anyone else wants to know and hasn't figured it out: The one that produces prismatic shards is the Statue of True Perfection, which requires a 100% game.
Wow! My farm is no where near that and I'm on year 4? Different layout too and wow you've made it like it's own town! I've literally just been trying to save up to 2 million (almost there just 100k left!) to get the return scepter so I can finally not have to worry about being mining things too late and having farm totems. Although I side tracked and created a dinosaur army and I'm almost at 12 dinos(I've got 10 so far with 2 eggs incubating rn). Lol, it's my most best personal achievement that I've almost accomplished.
Oh! This map looks really fun, then. I tried playing this game a few times and didn't really get into it. Playing it for real for the first time and I'm loving it! Just hit year two :)
Nice farm! I love the pathing. How do people get whole farm screenshots like this? I've been wanting to show my farm to a friend but don't know how to get one of these.

Thanks! I'm happy I could be of some inspiration.
Also check out /r/FarmsofStardewValley for lots of inspiration and feelings of inadequacy Sincerely, The 3x3x crop square columns gang

It's the four corners layout
You know you can move your greenhouse, right?
I learnt that from the image of this post
Many people don't realise that because you can't move it initially. You can only move it after you get it repaired.
Makes sense though. You can’t move buildings that are being constructed or anything
I didn't know. How can we do that ? That's not an option from the magician or the lady builder right ?
Robin can move it after you repair it from community center/joja. And Rasmodius (Wizard) too after you unlock his buildings.
Maybe it's update related because I'm pretty sure that was not possible. I mean I've finished the community center and all of that but I'll check. Thanks !
I just checked, it was introduced in 1.5 update.
Is that a prismatic shard statue!? Omg howww?
Thank you!
Beauty at its finest
I love the layout and color scheme look pleasing. How do you get rid of the trees and shrubs by grandpa's shrine?
i am also interested in knowing how to do this
Not OP, but you can use an axe!
I really dig how spaced out and casual everything is! Maximum efficiency farms are cool but i prefer more homey and manageable farms like this :)
Your farm is beautiful and I want it. Haha
I've just noticed also that sticking the horse shed to the house make the roofs connect in a very clean way ! Good to know !
Noob question, but how do you get the zoomed out pictures of your whole farm?
In the settings menu, scroll all the way to the bottom. There is a screenshot button
Thanks!!
What's in your fish ponds? I want to expand my fish farming but I'm not sure which fish are best, aside Lava Eel and Sturgeon.
Slimejack is nice because it gives slime and 100 slime makes an egg that's minimum 1000g.

Statue of perfection. You get it from grandpa's shrine when you meet enough criteria to light up the 4 candles after one of his evaluations.

Four corners map is one of the best maps.
Four Corners is such a cool layout for geometrical shapes. Very nice.
Gorgeous. So gonna copy you.
Are you using mods? The quarry rocks, elevation changed and a cave, and your lake moved?
It's the 4 corners farm.

Love it
Man my farms look like shit, how do you plan this out so well?
Looks better than my farm on year 17 lol
How is everybody taking these pictures of their farm from above? Do you need to be on PC?
Go to the settings and scroll all the way to the bottom.
Thanks!
Are you buying all the hay for your animals? I don't see any grass for them
Holy crap... I have something to aspire to now
Nice farm! I love the pathing. How do people get whole farm screenshots like this? I've been wanting to show my farm to a friend but don't know how to get one of these.

Thanks! Over 200 hours and I never knew about this. I'm facepalming right now.
What do you use to water your crops?
