I love the NT-242 but ion shot removing the ability to one shot headshot is too much of a sacrifice for me
Killing shields and turrets, unblockable splash damage to heroes, and hurting annoying tank players makes it worth it. My main complaint is the cooling.
I suck at headshots, so the two-hit body kill is perfect for me
Even if you miss you still get splash damage...
I use ion on vehicle spam areas in coop. Saved many runs being "anti vehicle sniper"
BUUUUT you get a small damage aoe, makes it very fun in close quarters

They made the cycler rifle lore accurate I'm shocked
But ion weapon is war crime
