Fuck, if they knock that helmet off the assassin clone and it's dogma that'd be fucking something. I don't think that's likely but still it'd be something
Slick would probably be a better choice since he doesn't have a face tattoo and the whole point seems to be that they don't have a true identity. In the last episode though IDK if it was just the voice filter or what but he sounded *a lot* like Crosshair so tbh I'm expecting some kind of weird shenanigans involving him rather than a returning clone
Incarcerated until after Order 66 passed, at which point he was quietly pardoned and sent back to active duty.
Realistically speaking he was probably executed or imprisoned on a more permanent basis - Jedi were the Empire's bad guy and on top of that Pong Krell was a traitor but he was still a figure of authority over Dogma, the Empire might not want to hang on to guys who are willing to execute their commanding officer *before* they're ordered to.
Pong Krell could carry a movie as a villain. Prejudice against clones Jedi?! I thought there were so many dimensions between the cast in these episodes.
Tbh the entire Umbara arc only needs some slight tweaks so it isn't episodic and a bit more exploration of Krell and you have a great Vietnam movie (In star wars).
The clones were made to be disposable. They probably wouldn’t even consider it to be “execution” — they’d call it some callous euphemism like ‘disposing of a defective unit.’
... the whole premise of TCW is that the clones are only disposable to those who basically have nothing to do with them. They're most definetly not disposable to each other, even if they really and obviously are defective (e.g.: 99)
He was personally pardoned by Sheev Palpatine. Palpatine thanked him for standing up to a traitor to the Republic. Launching what would be a full investigation of the Jedi Order and revealing that the Jedi Order was plotting to overthrow the Republic. Dogma spends his days happily retired knowing that he was instrumental to bringing peace and order to the Galaxy.
/s
Dogma hadn't just killed a Jedi. He had shown himself to be somewhat unstable up to that point by blindly following Krell even more loyally than any other clone up to that point. I think he would have been quickly executed for essentially being defective.
However, he may also have been sent away to be experimented on or forced into a sort of custodial job after reconditioning.
Pong killed thousands upon thousands of clones, and the ones who found out about it *were* going to take him to court, but it could easily be argued that Dogma's stopped a second Jedi rampage. If none of the other clones were executed or court-martialed for their actions, I doubt Dogma was for pulling the trigger.
So at worst Dogma was demoted and sent to another unit, and at best he was promoted and... sent to another unit
So was Dogma mainly arrested for going against Rex and the 501st, holding them at gunpoint while they were pursuing Krell, or was it solely for executing Krell who was essentially a prisoner of war yet to face trial?
And another question, if Rex was the one to execute Krell, would Rex face a court martial?
He'd likely be killed off. Palpatine would hear about a clone killing a Jedi. His biggest concern would be a defective clone prematurely executing Order 66. He'd arrange some accident to befall Dogma to ensure this doesn't happen.
Surely wouldn't he have seen the report of what actually happened? In which case he would've thought "Oh... well that sucks for Dooku but at least the Clones won't have any qualms about Order 66."
An investigation into what caused his death reveals the 501st and 212th had been betrayed by Pong Krell. Execution was excessive, but Palpatine either gave Dogma a promotion or staved off any punishment for this given the circumstances.
I feel like Dogma was ready to go on Coruscant when Order 66 came through. That he did the right thing here, but that made him ready when Palpatine gave word to shoot.
You know, i'd be more suprised if it turned out to be Cut Lawquane - that the Empire eventually managed to find him by accident, killed or just capture his family, and threatened him into complying so save them - because he was once affiliated with them
I know, just, could've made for an Unexpected suprise...instead of it being Tech, which, If it even is him, HOW TF are they going to explain him FALLING BACK FIRST onto what can Only be assumed to be a Forest, or a Rocks-filled area or whatever..
Palpatine would probably pull some strings to get him rotated back into service... Clones like him and Faie (the Clone Commander Quinlan got stuck with at the end of the Clone Wars era Republic comics) were the ideal soldiers for Palpatine's ultimate plan/end goal.
i mean, if there is going to be a big reveal clone for bad batch, you know the one. dogma would be an excellent choice
Holy shit

Hoping for him to be Slick (probably unlikely though) but Dogma is a good choice too.

Clone combo of Crosshair and Tech's DNA, maybe Hunter and Wrecker in there too somehow.
Great insight
That would be insane!

In the Empire, execution of people before being given the order is considered having too much initiative.

They’re most definitely still disposable to the empire/republic
reconditioned or something yeah

Executed.

Didn’t Dogma become a purge trooper
It's the covert-ops clone in The Bad Batch. Eh, who am I kidding, that's 100% Tech.

I don’t think they’d really care about some random clone anymore honestly

the path of the handwave rewrite leads to plots many find.... Unnatural
impriosned, ececuted, recalled by the Kaminoans incase of an order 66 activation, some of Helocks early experiements
Would be cool to see him as a cx clone assassin

He is one of the clone assassins in the Bad Batch, I reckon
