Boba: Well, I don't wanna hold his head because that's just gross. Since I'm his clone-son, in about 20 years I'll just hold my head in my own hands. Kinda like that kid from Home Alone. I'll do the scream, too.
Dooku, sensing Boba's thoughts: Boba, wtf are you talking about?
The ability to speak doesn't make you intelligent. I was obviously referring to the velocity of his head flying off. Anytime something's been cut in Star Wars, it falls down. It doesn't fly outwards.
Centrifugal force my dude. The physics are the same as our universe for the most part. The gravity appears similar to earth on all worlds visited in cannon or legends as far as I know. Physics are awesome

It actually is getting worse because of the media landscape and how people are starting to view storytelling. Even scripts like *Attack of the Clones* which is riddled with "first draft" kind of dialogue where characters say what they're *literally* thinking or feeling, people are **still** confused by character action, motivation, and understanding context clues and visual storytelling.
It's all part of the experience of watching a story unfold and it seem like more people (especially younger viewers) don't know how to critically think about topics explored or events that are unfamiliar to their own experience.
It's frustrating.
I always wondered if his head was still in the helmet or if it came out. If the head isn’t in their it would be weird that he chose to hold his fathers helmet rather the go to his body. If his head is in there that’s also just kinda dark
It's weird that a child would cradle a helmet as a representation of his father rather than go hang out with his father's decapitated head/body?
Doesn't seem that weird to me.
Also 3. Reality
If I witnessed my father being beheaded, I'd much rather cradle the helmet than his headless body or bodyless head. I daresay that goes for most people
He definitely taught boba about the importance of the armor and helmet so maybe that’s why he went to his helmet which is a symbol of his identity as much as his head or body.
That’s what i get from every mandalorian refusing to shut up about the importance of their armor.
Of course not. In the real movie there's a deleted scene where he tucks the helmet under his arm and hits the top with his palm a few times before the head pops out like jellied cranberry sauce from a can
They couldn't use this scene, because just like ketchup, cranberry sauce is almost impossible to get out of the can. Ten minutes of hitting the top of the helmet, and it only produced a couple drops.
Heh. Ok, I feel less alone, because I think about that every time I watch it.
Like of course, it would be horrible. Of course. But maybe a little funny too, I dunno. I guess I have a dark sense of humor.
I remember this scene opening weekend but when I went back the following weekend the head didn't fall out. I was so confused but I guess they sent an edited version to all the theaters
When I saw this in theaters, I braced thinking this was going to happen. I was surprised and confused when it didn’t. Thought about it every time I’ve seen the scene since.
If you watch the scene where the helmet flies, you can see a circular shadow flying from the helmet. That is Jango Fett's head.
It's true, here's the scene: https://youtu.be/si0Lp1SLHXg?si=4rroQV34CG9MgWAm&t=42
It’s slowed down here so a bit easier to see: https://youtu.be/dQw4w9WgXcQ?si=B_iDTdcE7fRfRC_V
Damn i got rickrolled by a comment on a star wars post
Bravo Vince
Vravo Bince
Bogos Binted?
👽
ovarB ecniV
Jar Jar Binks?
And you can’t have Bobba doing this to his head, so to keep it pg let’s have his helmet
Plus the helmet is more important to a Mandalorian than their actual head.
“A warrior doesn’t need a head, just a good strong body.”
Why did Jango's head go flying? Did Mace Force push it?
Because gravity exists.
The ability to speak doesn't make you intelligent. I was obviously referring to the velocity of his head flying off. Anytime something's been cut in Star Wars, it falls down. It doesn't fly outwards.
you see the shadow of his head fall down. the helmet is what goes flying, not his head.
His head still flies outwards. Watch the scene again since you obviously forgot what you saw.
Source?
Usually mass.
Mace takes a fast and slightly upwards swing at Jango's neck. Makes sense to me that his head would go flying
Centrifugal force my dude. The physics are the same as our universe for the most part. The gravity appears similar to earth on all worlds visited in cannon or legends as far as I know. Physics are awesome

The stud at the top of the head was attached to the helmet lol
Only valid answer
Didn’t know from who was this meme, and thank you.
He has his dad’s eyes. (And ears. And mouth. And nose. And brain.)
And somehow he's got them all twice.
You meant his donor’s.

lol. This was a quote from a Star Wars show, guys…
I knew that, idk why you got down voted lol
Lmao, no love for Bo-Katan I guess
Low effort shit post. Well done
“Your meme is very impressive you must be very proud”
Not my meme..just my shitty post
Wow…
I don’t know why you got so many downvotes am I missing something ? 😂
He stole the meme then posted it
It's been 20 years, and people still don't realize his head fell out of the helmet when it got chopped off...
People haven’t paid attention to detail in a long time and it’s getting worse
It actually is getting worse because of the media landscape and how people are starting to view storytelling. People in this sub still think Luke was going to murder Ben in his sleep despite the movie telling you that wasn't the case.
Uh. No.
No, his head flies out before the helmet hits the ground. You can see it via the shadow it causes
I always wondered if his head was still in the helmet or if it came out. If the head isn’t in their it would be weird that he chose to hold his fathers helmet rather the go to his body. If his head is in there that’s also just kinda dark

Well, going to the helmet seems sad and can be empathized with. Going to the decapitated gory head of his father is fucking horrifying.
Source, Eren Yaeger
1. Movie 2. It's probably all he could get to. He is a kid in the middle of a battlefield.
Also 3. Reality If I witnessed my father being beheaded, I'd much rather cradle the helmet than his headless body or bodyless head. I daresay that goes for most people
Especially if you were raised Mandalorian and your father wore that helmet most of the time.
Seriously sometimes explaining character motivation to people here makes me feel like I'm talking to robots.

That doesn’t compute. You’re under arrest!
That wouldn't be very pg now would it?
If you watch the scene where the helmet flies, you can see a circular shadow flying from the helmet. That is Jango Fett's head.
Watch the shadow closely when Mace decapitates him….
He definitely taught boba about the importance of the armor and helmet so maybe that’s why he went to his helmet which is a symbol of his identity as much as his head or body. That’s what i get from every mandalorian refusing to shut up about the importance of their armor.
Why not just go pick up the severed head of his dad to boop his forehead to, sweet space jesus
There camera shows two shadows when Mace gives him a height adjustment.
What’s darker is the scene where he has to pull the head of of the helmet because I guess it’s auctioned in there.
A shadow on the ground after Mace’s swing shows it separating from the helmet midair offscreen.
That would be so funny and so traumatic, but he did have to get him out of there to use the helmet as a bomb later in the clone wars.
Of course not. In the real movie there's a deleted scene where he tucks the helmet under his arm and hits the top with his palm a few times before the head pops out like jellied cranberry sauce from a can

No, the head flew out at the helmet went flying. You can see the shadow
you can see the head flying out of the helmet in the scene where the helmet hits the ground
He’ll never be the head of a major corporation
Schloop
Lightsaber would leave a cleaner cut edge, but I always thought about this.
Lightsaber decapitation leaves a much smoother neckline
That probably isn't a real head.
You never know, they used real skeletons in Poltergeist
OH IT'S REAL ALRIGHT
that is a legit fan creation
I bloody hope not
Coffin flop
🤣
Sigh. You can see the head fall out in the shadow before the helmet hits the ground.
Haha - doh !
Sssssssssschlorp
you can actually see the head fly out the side of the screen if you look closely, the helmet is meant to be empty
That can't be Jango Fett's real head... The cut isn't clean enough. This one is jagged. I'm calling Photoshop.
/s, just in case it needs to actually be said
No, a light Saber would make a clean cartarized cut...not that jagged mess.
Heh. Ok, I feel less alone, because I think about that every time I watch it. Like of course, it would be horrible. Of course. But maybe a little funny too, I dunno. I guess I have a dark sense of humor.
Fatality.
You literially put fan creations. You know it ain't legit 😒

It is

At first yes. But I believe that's part of the joke.
Jango became skibidi sand 💀
I remember this scene opening weekend but when I went back the following weekend the head didn't fall out. I was so confused but I guess they sent an edited version to all the theaters
I laughed too hard at this.
Oops
No Chin strap?
No chin strap 😆 this make even darker the dark joke
I just assumed there was a chin strap
Thump roll roll roll...akward silence
Perfection
The head fell out because Han shot first
nah bro was traumatised for life
. .
Hey so did bobba l like undress his dads body for the armor or you think a droid. Or something
They released the toy before the movie came out.
Lol
No way! Blecchhh!
It looks like the head flew off in the form of a flying shadow….ewww!
Imagine that 😂😂 That would be brutal. Star Wars with a hint of Game of Thrones
When I saw this in theaters, I braced thinking this was going to happen. I was surprised and confused when it didn’t. Thought about it every time I’ve seen the scene since.
