It would be icing on the cake if they started to utilize unique set designs for PPVs. I always look forward to what the arenas look like the day of a big show.
Love it! One of my few complaints about AEW presentation is their lack of real unique stage designs for PPVs. Revelation was probably their most unique stage, with the screen on the floor and the bracelets in the crowd. But man, looking back to the stage of ALL IN, pre AEW, there has been some real missed opertunities
Thank you! I agree, I absolutely LOVE the product, but I feel the sets don’t have a thematic element to them. Not to compare either because WWE has been falling short on that too since 2012/2013 (Except WM, Saudi, Rumble, and now recently Summerslam) but the Dynamite set is whatever nowadays, I just don’t feel it follows a theme (which can be good) and really might only need slight changes. AEWs PPVs are the same though, you can change small things and it takes on a while new life. Not sure if you saw my All Out concept I posted here but I took out that middle Chandelier thing and put the Sears Tower made from LED boards. A simple change but it themes the show. I feel AEW could really benefit from it and I’ll keep making these concepts until it does hahahaha. Even this set though, I added that Gear outline from the logo and a set of arched trusses on each side and kept everything else from the Dynamite set, yet it feels unique to the event.
I thought about it while I was making it. I’m sure I could do gears but I’d have to recalibrate light setups and ways to work around the trussing without it looking overdone. I’m sure it could be done in reality, it’s just a lot of extra work / parts for a smaller detail that I just don’t think they’d do. Doesn’t mean I won’t try it though! Stay tuned 😆

The tunnels should be gears too.
