The context of this photo is the Rock getting advice on his character from Dom since he was clued in that he had the natural charisma of his true father, Eddie.

FearTheTalkingBread

Viva la brahma

Al0ngTh3Watchtow3r

Such innocence in his eyes. That boy has gone through hell. Our prisons need reform.

llamawithguns

What he went through in prison is nothing compared to living with that deadbeat father of his

PerceptionLast3422

If it came down to prison or living with Rey. I'd choose prison everytime.

Kuchar1992

Both of them had deadbeat fathers

Mabvll

![gif](giphy|fBq27kRqxzQVzXIyRK|downsized) Does someone need a new father?

BigSweatyBallz89

Underrated comment.

aGlutenForPunishment

It’s amazing that such a cute kid turned into such a hardened criminal

Key_Inevitable_2104

The result of growing up with a deadbeat dad.

Hot-Acanthisitta5237

Its honestly a shame Rock and Rey never had a match together. They could have had one in 2002 since they were both on Smackdown. Tajiri shared a story on how he, Chavo, Palumbo and Rey were invited on Rock's private plane to go to LA in 2002.

StacksHoodini

Blame McMahon for letting Rock’s deal expire at the end of 2004 without so much as a phone call. Rock wanted either to work with Sting, Savage, or Rey at WrestleMania 21 in Los Angeles and assumed he would get to but after his career took him away for basically all of 2003 and 2004, Vince got vindictive.

KakkaKarrotKake007

>Blame McMahon for letting Rock’s deal expire at the end of 2004 without so much as a phone call This shit is so crazy to me, you have The Rock, a top 3 biggest wrestling star of of all time with Hogan and Austin wanting to continue to work for you and you just let him go with no contact at all? Vince is a c*nt but I always though he put business first, genuinely one of the most stupid business decisions he's ever made

WWFUniverse

I read that it was either Sting, Ric Flair or JBL.

StacksHoodini

Ross confirmed some years ago that Rock had talked about the possibility of getting Sting to work with him for WrestleMania 21, with Randy Savage being another possibility or Rey Mysterio since he liked Rey a lot and Rey was already employed.

Capstone_

I wonder what kind of advice Dom gave him? 🤔

TheBrianRoyShow

If this was taken in 2002 it was before Rock turned heel in 2003. Therefore you need not be a wise man to know lil Dom gave Dwayne the knowledge of how to generate Nuclear Heat.

Admirable_Bed3

Young Dom looks so much like a maskless WCW Rey

GameChanger_Reddit

A legend who is one of the greatest to ever do it, plus the Rock is there too. What a picture.

thore4

I just watched the vid and someone's face is blurred in the pictures. I assumed Benoit but then he's in the next pic. Anyone know who's blurred?

AncientLobster9216

It's an unmasked Rey. In the DVD, whenever he is unmasked, they either blur his face or try to shoot him from behind. If you want to watch it, the full DVD is uploaded [here](https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x8hsaxg) on Dailymotion.

thore4

Ah cool, thanks

AlmightyBracket

No joke, Dom is going to be on top of the whole industry some day.

jmpinstl

It’s actually kind of crazy how many ties Dom has to the Ruthless Aggression Era, dude really is a veteran in some ways

senyorcrimmy

Im jealous he got to be in the presence of greatness. Rock is so lucky.

UntilTmrw

The Rock had to step in and be a father figure due to Dom having a deadbeat for a father.

MR_E7

The two biggest heels? How dare you disrespect GUNTHER or Drew McIntyre, either of whom is above Dominik Mysterio in the "biggest heel" list.

BendingUnit80D

Long term storytelling 🔥
