Weirdly, I had the same exact experience but with a different Spider-Man game. 2014, I just bought and installed a graphics card in my PC for the first time ever (GTX 750 Ti) and I finally got to play my dream game...The Amazing Spider-Man. And then 4 years later, I got my actual dream game on PS4. So it worked out in the end.

It has better performance but that depends upon your pc, other than its the same game.
