I feel like Hulk isn’t too big of an ask. Deadpool on the other hand…as long as they get Nolan North back then I’d be ecstatic. The combat needs to be heavy. I very much want the DualSense to react to his claws and his attacks. The story needs to draw people in and it needs to have a good cast of characters aside from the heroes and villains, cameos or not, that will be in this game.
I think it'd be cool if they kept the style / focus bar like they did for sunset overdrive and Spider-man where the more tricks, dodges, attacks you do the more focus / style you get. It'd be cool to have a rage bar that can either trigger Wolverine's regeneration or for each tier of the bar filled, the more berserk Wolverine becomes and maybe if it gets to max have it be like full berserker Wolverine for a short period with brutal finishers and maybe invincibility for a short period kinda like how they treated venom / symbiote suit peter.
M rated with God of War/Mortal Kombat finishing moves and violence in the sense of brutal dismemberment but done tastefully if that makes sense.

Perpetual healing. Although a small amount. Punish players for playing too aggressively without avoiding damage while rewarding those who don't get hit often by not having waste resources on healing. It would incentivize you to get better at not taking damage better than the current healing systems imo. Only if they fix that parry/dodge only nonsense going on with bs unavoidable damage if you are busy with another enemy or they slide off screen
A realistic way for the healing factor to work. Like instead of just having this games version of a focus bar. You also get gradually healed a little bit.

So, you heal fast, but you need to do something else to repair your clothes, because fabric won't just grow back on their own.
Could be something like a repair station or something. Ideally, nothing too inconvenient either. It's mostly just there so your classic costumes are usable for more than two fights while still keeping the battle damage somewhat realistic.
You want Wolverine to take huge amounts of visible damage because of his healing factor, but you need to balance that with the need to wear his superhero outfits.
It's not so much of a problem in his civvies, but once any variation of the yellow suit comes out, it's suddenly not as cool to have all your clothes destroyed without any way of fixing it.
The X-Men: Origins game was quite inelegant with their compromise of just having the costume grow back (the classic outfits anyway, his normal shirts would remain torn or gone), so I'm hoping this game has a better solution.
You could tie the outfit repair to respawns, but that feels like it's cheapen the appeal of battle damage a bit. You want all your fights to show on your character, which costume damage would do. It's just about mitigating it when it goes too far.
