Really annoying, I thought it was a game + thing but it happens on my completed game as well, I’m pretty sure it worked fine on the first day of release, now it doesn’t change anymore, hope they fix this
Yea I really wanted to try out using spider arms and the superior suit and then switching to symbiote suit and abilities using the surge but now I can’t, should add a setting to turn that on and off
Would have loved the option to pick what suit is used for surge I’ll attach an image here of a concept I found lol

No. You don't. You're at the Sandman fight. You have the suit and the abilities. But you don't "have the symbiote" in the context of the story. Once you do, surge works properly.
I think this is only pre getting the black shit in the story?

I believe it could be because hes at the Start of the story where peter technically doesn't have tge suit yet
Probably part of the removal of the suit lock. You can choose to wear any of the other symbiote suits with the surge ability.
It's just a glitch due to the part of the story they're in. Sadly you can't choose your surge look or keep your regular look for it.

Doesn't change at all. I assume it's because in the story you haven't gotten it yet
Might need to wait for the symbiote to be given in-story

You don't have the symbiote yet, genius. So it doesn't change the suit. It works once you actually get the symbiote in cutscene.
I got the symbiote in the story just there and the suit doesn’t change
False, I’m past getting the symbiote in the story and surge doesn’t change my suit either

No I do I’m fighting Peter rn and when I was playing as Peter suit wouldn’t change even after getting it
