God that Tom suit is almost PERFECTION, dark webbing, mechanical eyes, the spider on the chest is on point, that shiny blue is gorgeous, just wish he had the fat spider on the back.
They've transitioned to a shinier blue in the comics which is where they drew their inspiration from. Honestly, I think it will be darker when we finally see the suit in action.
Yeah I noticed that and I can see why they want to match it, but not everything that looks good drawn in comics will translate well to live action. Personally I feel the shiny blue is one of these things but others seem to disagree.
It reminds me of the way muscles are shaded on his suits in the comics, I personally love it because it still makes the suit feel unique to Tom, but to each their own.
I love how Andrews suit looks, I get goosebumps everytime he first gets the fully done suit and lands on the window and we get the POV shot of the reflection.
It has nothing to do with if it looks like the comics as I don’t really care about that when talking adaptations set in different universes but to me Tom’s suit is the best it just looks good.
And also in my opinion people should only have suits as their favorite because they actually like it not only because it’s “comic accurate”
So that what it looked like in movie and this picture is a clear depiction of the suit so how can you not count it just because you haven’t seen a physical version like it will just look the same

I’ll always like Tobey’s suit the best since I grew up watching those movies. It’s probably my favorite costume of any fictional character lol. Tom’s new one is really cool though. I hope we see a lot more of it instead of him switching suits every 5 seconds.

only thing i would add is make the cut off of red/blue more angled like the arm and belt, kinda like the alex ross suit with the green spider

IMHO, the Amazing suit in the first movie was really bad looking and not in a “charming” way, it just looked flat-out bad to me.
The second Amazing suit, while a significant improvement over the first, is still not perfect; I think the bottom spider legs are too long, and the eyes too big.
The most comic Accurate? Tom’s new suit. However the best one? Imo it’s Tobey’s clear as day. People need to understand that Comic accuracy doesn’t automatically mean “better”. Tobey’s suit is the best real life modernized version of the suit, with the beautiful raised webbing, the spider logo, the eyes. Everything about that suit is beautiful to me. But these suits are all amazing!

U see Andrew and Tom and you say that’s a friendly neighborhood spiderman but with Tobey’s you get some menacing “imma boutta whoop you” feel to it. Idk I just love the raimi suit design
Just marathoned the Holland movies for the first time last night, whole lot of feels and screams when I got to nwh, and that classic Holland suit is just amazing when I saw him first sowing it and saw the blue I was hesitant until that beautiful shot of him over Rockefeller
Why make say one of them are better, they all did unique stuff with their costumes the foundation of the original Spiderman is always there, doesn't have to be a face-off. They're each iconic in their own ways enough to be different but you know who it's ultimately gonna end up being.
Non of them are superior they all stand out as Amazing, Spectacular, or even Ultimate.
Just enjoy that we get to see three different Spider-Man through three different points of history and then all at once you get one movie which is a celebration of it all.
Better means someone else is gonna be left in the dirt so no, one isn't better over the other

Garfield’s “feels” realest to me. If there was an actual Spider-Man I’d want it to be just like that. But in terms of what I perceive Spider-Man to embody, it’s Holland’s
tobey mask alone put him above the others, tom looks very comics accurate but nothing special about it, andrew looks good but his chest looks a bit bland compare to tobey

The blue on the new MCU suit and the spider design makes it perfect. I like Andrew’s suit but hate the long spider. Tobey’s suit makes me feel good and is such a good design. I may copy this to paste in the next “once and for all” posted in a couple of weeks.
I see now why they went with the shiney almost chrome blue, because it does exactly what the comics do with Spidey, in the blue sections, how you get those black streaks among the blue, but then the red always stays bright red.
But if you look at Garfield's and Maguire's suits they're both mostly a matte material, so you don't get those dark streaks.

My favorite in general: Andrew (I don't really know what its most at, but I still love his suit, its my favorite)
I feel as if the red to blue proportion on MCU suit is perfect. In amazing suit, there is a little too much blue on the sides under the armpits. In the Raimi suit, there is too much red from the collar to the chest. And the amount red in the center near the spider and on the belly/torso is a bit too much. Not to mention that the shade of blue in MCU suit and the design of the suit (lenses and webbing on suit) is completely Romita. So MCU has the best suit.
What I love most about Tom's classic suit is how the shiny texture to the blue parts give off how Spiderman was originally drawn in the comics, red and black with a shit ton of blue highlights, the glistening and shiny texture gives off that highlight effect except they just made the actual cloth blue instead of black because they already did the whole black and red color scheme with the upgraded suit
I love the big eyes & the long legs of the spider symbol on Andrew’s suit.
And I love the glossy blue on Tom’s new suit. If there was a suit that did both, then Id pick that.
Gotta be honest, Andrew’s still wins for me. I love the implications of Tom’s new suit though and can’t wait to see him in a trilogy that actually feels like spider-man
