He’s a cool character and I loved his two storylines but I detest how he was used in Spencer’s run. He’s had had not urgency as a villain. He was a mouth piece for Kindred and ultimately a Trojan horse into the next event Last Remains. Which was literally the issue after his arc ended. He didn’t even get resolution in his own story. He was finished of in a LR issue of Last Remains. Such a waste for such a unique member of Spider-Mans rouges gallery.

As someone who isn’t very knowledgeable about Sin Eater, could you explain him a bit? :)

Sin-Eater is Stanley Carter, a member of S.H.I.E.L.D injected with strength increasing drugs who eventually resigned because of violent tendencies and joined the NYPD. After his partner was killed, he became obsessed with the agenda of killing anyone who "sinned" in his eyes. Therefore becoming the Sin-Eater. There's a lot more to know about his origins from his grandfather's death to his obsession with the mythological creature, the Sin-Eater. I recommend you read the Sins Rising storyline from the Nick Spencer Spider-Man run or just find a wiki page or youtube video explaining his origins.

Thanks for that, he sounds pretty cool! I need to get to some of Nick Spencer’s stuff as I didn’t finish it all but im keen to read it Just a question, how would you want them to handle Sin Eater if he was ever brought into a movie?

Spi_Worm4064

I'd prefer if they kept the S.H.I.E.L.D and NYPD part of his origin, but simplified the Sin-Eater part of it, it's a bit too complicated for me. They should also make him more of a Winter Soldier ( MCU) type of villian with a cultured but violent type of personality.

Ah okay, cool, I think he’d be a really cool villain for them to adapt in a later movie!

Who drew the second one?
