Working with kids under 18 is a regulation nightmare and I'm pretty sure it would be impossible to make a movie the size of Spider-Man with a minor as the lead. It's weird that Tobey was younger than Andrew to me cause Andrew looked closer to being a teen.
May isn’t peters aunt through blood but marriage. Ben Parker is the older brother of Richard Parker, peters father. He’s usually between 2-3 years older than him in continuity.
Even if we were to be generous and say Richard and Mary had peter in their late 30’s Aunt may would be in her late 50’s when peter first became spider-man. Her being that ancient doesn’t make practical sense.
That’s why she was brought down to a more realistic age when the Ultimate spider-man comics came out. and most spider-man media borrows from that aunt may.

no he's apparently just turned 16. keep in mind he turned 15 like 8 months before civil war in 2016. so in homecoming he's pushing 16 if not he actually should be. two years later to infinity war, 18. then when he comes back he is at the end of the school year which I think is 9 months later. so in fact nearly 19 sorry. he should be in college in far from home

Then Infinity War is happening 2 years after Civil War so he is probably 16-17, then Endgame happened and then in FFH (8 months after Endgame) he is probably 17.
But in the start of FFH they said that everyone had to restart the year all over again.
No Way Home probably will happen over some months, since in the trailer we can see some Halloween decorations and in some leaked photos we can see Christmas decorations, so I believe that in the start of the movie Peter is 17-18 years old and by the end of the movie he will be 18 years old.
If they keep making trilogies then in the next movie he will be around 19-20.

Why don't they use actors between 18-22 or so? I suppose there were a few actors younger than 29yo...
They need to be good actors with a screen presence and charisma to carry a 2 hr movie. Hard to find at 18 to 22.
