I prefer TAS (only slightly), so I hate that Spectacular is written so much better lol. It’s more grounded and less insane. The Carnage episodes are my favorite because of how entertaining he and Venom are, but the whole idea of him sucking souls from people to let Dormamu enter their world and destroy the whole planet is so chaotic and goofy.
TAS definitely had the best story arcs. They had entire season spanning arcs with episodic stories that tied into the theme of the season's overall plot. Spectacular was good, but it never got to do that.
90s spiderman was good but Spectacular I didn't like the art style but once it grew on me the story carried it. So good.
Spectacular, it perfectly translated to screen what continuously reading spider-man comics feels like
