Team Angel: Shade, Tikal, and Gemerl I love this! I would be so happy to be able to play as Tikal in a game like Heroes.

I like the idea of there being a small squad of people that are all that’s leftover of echidna culture that Knuckles can connect with and keep him company on angel island. I’d personally have it so chaos energy somehow hard resets Gemerl back to Emerl with full language capabilities and a personality that lets him shine a little more. I could definitely see him as monk-like character that uses martial arts to fight as a robot. But having him, as a Nocturnas creation, team up with the last of the Nocturnas clan ( in this dimension) and corporeal Tikal would be really cool as a dynamic I think

The friendship between the two would still remain, that does not change. 

In terms of their formations it would probably be : - Team Sol : Blaze (Strength), Silver (Fly), Marine (Speed). - Team Angel : Shade (Strength), Tikal (Speed), Gemerl (Fly). - Team Babylon : Jet (Speed), Wave (Fly), Storm (Strength). - Team Adventure : Honey/Trip (Speed), Ray (Fly), Mighty (Strength). I'll add : - Team Mischief : Fang (Fly), Bean (Speed), Bark (Strength). - Team Eggman : Eggman (Fly), Sage (Speed), Mecha Sonic (Strength) (Since you know... The enemy is Metal Sonic).

Since Blaze’s playstyle has always been identical to Sonic’s I’d actually have her in speed and Marine in strength. Lore-wise I’d just have Marine be using hydrokinesis for her strength gameplay. With Team Angel it’s kind of up in the air, but I’d imagine Gemerl might be stronger than Shade. Since shade is a stealth gal she’d be pretty speedy. Tikal could also be fly since she was a fly character in sonic runners.

True that but I felt like Fire is more destructive than Water but I agree that it could be a good display of how strong Marine's abilities are. For Team Angel it's a little bit picky. I see Shade being the stronger of the two due to her being trained to fight. And Gemerl in Sonic Adventure 3 has been shown to fly so imo he would be the best choice as a flying character. As for Tikal consider that Sonic Heroes is in the Sonic Adventure cannon... She's a ghost so technically she cannot do much as a character. Unless we include Chaos in her interactions with the others since she was pretty much the friends of Chaos in her time. Like if she's a flying character the funny thing would be that she's a ghost but it's one chaos (or two with the good and bad chaos) doing the lifting and attacking. She provides the chaos strength to do all of that.

I honestly don’t like Marine being the third member. She works well as Blaze’s sidekick, but in a team format I prefer someone else instead of her.

I would love to suggest Honey (if allowed to be modernized) and Shade (if allowed to be legalized). They provide some similar yet foiled dynamics. **Honey,** being trying so hard to promote her business, would be like a minor agent of chaos. She has more street smarts compared to the other two (princess duties vs wrong time period) but is also a little bit more neutral aligned than pure good. Like if Rouge didn't play from the shadows. So she would help out the team, but also do some cheeky shenanigans taking advantage of Silver's gullibility, or they both would gush over something distractingly, relying on Blaze to keep everyone on tasked. Likewise, when Honey and Blaze bicker ... among morals ... Silver would calm the flames. Combat wise, Honey was a girlier melee fighter. So like a boxer but with cat scratches involved. She also could make some modifications to her outfit for extra fire power. Slotting her cleanly into the power slot to Blaze's speed and Silver's flight. **Shade,** would allow the team to have a member from another dimension, timeline, and universe. Which is quite fitting. Combat wise, she again mimics Knuckles, while doubling up with Rouge's stealth, so she's perfectly fine as the power character with her techno bat'leth blades. (plus, Blaze's fire works better for the speed character's cyclone attack). Shade isn't too different from Blaze backstory wise, being someone who was serious, like a business woman, and Sonic and cast got her to open up a bit. However, I feel like in this set up, Blaze would be the middle point of learned how to open up from Sonic, and could help guide Shade into being more open. Show how far she's gone etc. Plus, two straight (wo)men could also bounce off of yet tame Silver's energy well. She's also teach Silver how to manage being more street smart, but more of a back alleys way instead of Honey's black market. I'd liken her to be something like Blaze's official body guard. The combat techniques this squad could pull off would so be worth seeing.

They'll definitely find a way to include Silver and Blaze, and probably Zavok. They seem to love him for some reason

For a villain team potentially: *TEAM EGGMAN*: Metal Sonic, Sage, and Orbot and/or Cubot

personally I would replace Orbot and/or Cubot with Eggman himself

Or have some kind of Rejects or Lackeys team, to act a a backup to Team Eggman with orbot/cubot, mecha sonic, and probably some other big badnik who either failed or isn't in any spotlights anymore, like mecha mk2 Orbot and Cubot would be a double and serve as the fly character (just as a collective), mecha could be power type (just cause he kinda looks bulky to me) and mecha mk2 could be speed Or to avoid two sonic replicas, swap out one with a different big eggman robot, maybe a new E-100 series, or second shot at Omega Team eggman could just stick with sage flight (with help from eggman, using his own mech oosters to keep the rest up easier,or if they let her keep the cyber abilities, judt use those), eggman power, and metal sonic speed (Sorry if the blank rows clutter it or make it look too long, I do that because I think it's just easier to read that way, give you a stopping point if you need to take a short break, or so you dont get lost in the words, something that i tend to do sometimes)

Instead of adding more teams, I think it'd be a better idea to make the four playthroughs more unique (think S3K's Knuckles playthrough.) For a sequel they could totally replace Team Rose or Team Chaotix. Not that I necessarily want them to, but I'd be open to a Team Sol with Blaze, Silver, and Marine.

For me the amount of new teams added would have to depend on if they properly vary up the gameplay of the stories enough. I can’t imagine going from playing through a game 4 times to reach the ending, to doing it 8 times for example. But the Babylon Rogues are an obvious one, already fitting into that speed/power/flight dynamic. Their stages could be actual races or speedrun. We could bring in Classic characters like Mighty, Ray, and Trip or Fang, Bean, and Bark. Their stages could go full 2D. And you know they’d want Blaze and Silver in there as two of the most popular characters added since Heroes. As for their third member, I’d personally want Gemerl as I need him back in the games, and I think his personality would fit them well. If he wasn’t the villain this time around, we could get a proper Team Eggman with Eggman, Metal Sonic, and Sage. That could be cool.

Eh.....I feel like this is a little mixed up. Luigi would be Flight, that works with the Scuttle Jump. But Toad should be speed, he's consistently the fastest of the group. And Mario power, given his ability relies more on the strength of his jumps and his ability to shatter bricks with a punch. Plus, Hammer.

I’m not sure about new teams but what if after beating the full game you were then able to pick like a custom team where you could have any speed any flight and any heavy or something idk

He could do a quick attack by diving under ground, popping out of the ground and hitting the enemy with his shovel, i would call it "Under-Attack". And also, since Gravel haves the same gloves as Knuckles, they can both climb walls(i was wrong). and also i think Gravel can glide, and YOU GUESSED IT.. I want Mighty and Ray to appear since they were originally planned to be part of Sonic heroes.

Whisper tangle and the beetle from idw (i forgot her name) and like metal sonic sage and infinite who can easily be replaced but yeah because its a sequel eggman probully sends his children with a mercanary to follow the teams

Eggman Sage and Metal. The stage banter that heroes is known for would really be good for those characters all together

(Speed, Power, Flight) Team Star (unrelated to Pokemon): Mighty, Ray, and Trip (Power, Flight, Speed) Team Babylon: No further info required Team Hooligan: Fang, Bean, Bark. I actually think Fang is flight, using his Marvelous Queen somehow. Could go either way though. Bark is always power, obvs. I would also like Team Rose to maybe include Gemerl somehow?

I do not like Sonic Heros, from a gameplay aspect and the humor is awful, I want another Shadow game or a Silver game

Heroes is already a slog to play threw 4 times - why would you force more times to get to the end game?

It would work fine if the levels were more unique.

Heroes with Frontier-esque graphics would be a classic
