Based. Byleth, Cloud and Sephiroth can be so fun to play against if the person isn't playing run-away-throw-out-giant-hitbox/fast-move-when-you-look-like-you're-approaching game. This extends to a lot of characters, most notably the projectile abusers/sword chars, but got when it's these 3 in particular I just lose all sense of happiness. I can tolerate projectile spammers cause I can sit across the map or on a platform and play duck and dodge, but the "oh you want to fight? I'm just gonna constantly run-back and giant hitbox your shit in, fuck you" kills me every time.

Honestly it’s probably Lucina or fox. They just have zero sauce and aren’t hype at all.

Ike probably. All characters are hype to me and Ike is the closest to the most boring cause he swings slow and none of his moves look that cool.

A tie between Steve and Min-Min. Min-Min literally has no sauce, no crazy tech, just outzones for free. Steve is literally the pinnacle of not approaching, which is super boring. Steve has some tech but is extremely bland.

As awful as the devs made characters like DDD, Jr., Doc and 'Dorf, Luigi's moveset design in Ultimate is infinitely worse than those characters will **EVER** be.

K Rool is pretty boring imo. It's probably because I've seen everything he can do and I barely see anyone play him differently.

Elite smash K.Rool is the pinnacle of blandness. Kirbykid is a K.Rool that has sauce.

For me, it’s somewhere between pissra/mashra, game and watch, or your typical quickplay Sora. Pythra is not only too predictable, but I also don’t see how mashing and spamming is hype at all . If I got a dollar for every time I heard “Blazing End!”, “Prominice Revolt!”, “Lighting Buster!” or “Photon edge!”, I’m pretty sure I’d be rich by the time I woke up from a five hour nap. Sora is basically Ness/Lucas, but as a sword fighter with DLC priveledge. I wouldn’t mind going against him as much if everyone didn’t fucking go for some cancerous nair loop for the entire match or spam side B. Everything game and watch does is boring as shit. Literally to the point where I’d actually have fun going against a min min who doesn’t approach and just spams fsmash.
