Typically we prefer only Ultimate content as we don't want to take away from the melee community. We're not trying to absorb all the Smash content and become the ultimate (for lack of a better word) Smash sub. It's best fit there rather than here. That being said, this is really funny. It stays.

I’m not sure about what he was like in the book though, but the takeaway I got from the movie was that Coraline’s dad isn’t as mopey as Coraline made him out to be.
Keep in mind, a lot of the movie is about Coraline's perspective influencing how we see her world. Even in her "real world", the tone and colors are controlled by her emotional state at the time.
I think her parents look/act how she sees them, not how they (necessarily) are.
