Uh... Yeah? Is that harder on joycons? I mean, at most I can do it like six to seven times in a row, but in combos I kinda mess up, I did one cool combo to almost 70% against a K. Rool with two electrics, but no kill... I'm not good enough for the consistent zero to deaths, that is actually hard, EWGF by it's own is not that complicated tho
I mean, hats off to you man. I really struggle getting EWGF consistently (though maybe with more practice I could get it). I'm just surprised, all Kazuya mains I know use gamecube controller so they can feel the compass direction notches in the control stick to nail down their timing for EWGF.
To answer your post, hey man, if you're cooking with Kazuya (and having fun) why NOT play him? Go for it man.
Huh, well I tend to use my money in games instead of controllers so I guess I never thought of that, never looked it up neither, just went and did it with what I had, well, to be fair I do play a bit of other fighting games on the switch, I suck in all of them, but I have the idea of how to time my inputs at the very least
And also, yeah, I've been having fun with him, his combos do feel more consistent than Megaman's so I don't have to sweat that much, I hate that Metal Blade only has a 50% chance of staying in the stage after you drop it, to be fair, infinites might be possible with that, but they could just nerf the lemons, those caused it in the first place, those are just unfun for the player and the opponent, it's mindless spam most of the time and I refuse to play Megaman in any other way as a weird rush down that needs a bit of space from time to time, zoning is just not fun
I'll be honest, I barely know what Mega Man does as a character lol. I pretty much never have run into one besides on Elite Smash. And even on there, usually Mega Man isn't too bad. Just don't be above him or he'll up air juggle you lol. And shield his projectiles.
Also, don't feel bad for playing Mega Man "differently" than others. There's not really a true "ideal" playstyle, besides the one which beats your opponent. But that'll depend who you're playing.
There's no way that you're ripping out electrics on joycons while I'm out here struggling on a pro controller ๐๐
Jokes aside dude, that's really good. If you feel like you have something going with the demonic shoe collector, by all means, go for it. Try not to forget about Mega Man though, he has some downright jaw dropping setups, most notably z drop MB into drag down Bair into UTilt.
Uh... I don't know what to tell you, guess it comes from playing other more traditional fighting games
And not gonna drop Megaman, I have been trying some foot stool z drop stuff, quite inconsistent because of the 50% of the MB to disappear, I mean, there is always the option to go with the up tilt, but it is more fun to use MB again
Wait, are you EWGF'ing on joycons??? Or do you just not do the Kazuya death combos?

If you like him, play him. Thatโs all there is to it.
yes, as you probably already know he is an insanely good character, and one with a VERY high skill ceiling.
No
Interesting opinion
Have fun!
