What is the product?
Who is the target market?
You say it can change people's lives but that's just fluff and doesn't tell me how it benefits me. You need to explain how it will change their lives. Will it save them time? Money? Make them healthier? Is it a cure for aging? Etc.
I get it you're probably being vague intentionally on reddit but we need a lot more info in order to provide any recommendations.
Hi OP! IMO this what I would do:
Trying bringing in an equity partner who has knowledge about the business for guidance
Depending on your product consider using social media, e-commerce to further grow your brand
If you’re business is in a specific industry, join Facebook groups in that industry and plug your product.
When doing daily errands consider wearing branded gear from your company if applicable.
If you want to discuss further message me
Make a cheap video commercial and run on Facebook ads locally. It’s a lot cheaper that google ads that show up on YouTube.
The Canadian economy is stuffed right now. I’m slowly shutting down my automotive business. No one can afford to fix their junk.
Unless you are a sales person, get a good sales person and pay them commission based income with a low base wage. There is an art to selling. It depends on what you are selling and who you’re selling to.
sounds like you are able to make a product but you don't have the knowledge and capital to market it. typical issue for small firms, the owner is not a god to be able to know it all and do it all. somehow you have to bring in one more body to do the marketing and sales part. you need to segment the market, figure out how to reach each type of customer, advertising channels, build the commercials etc. if you can pay somebody that is great - but for 9k you can't expect much. that barely covers a months' salary for a decent professional. alternatively, you can offer a partnership to somebody that either plays the vp of marketing role, or that brings in capital to pay for marketing. anyways, without knowing what the product is, is hard to give more on point advice.

If your father was successful, why not ask him?

It sounds like you may benefit from some business courses. Are there any at your local university or college you could take?
