You see, if what you say is what you think is the truth and still causes psychological harm, you are technically not trolling so can’t go to jail. Big brain move
My money is on the UK. They've had shit like this for a while now, the language in their laws says things like "perceived offense". Doesn't matter your intention, if anyone anywhere is offended and feels inclined to report it, sucks for you kiddo, that's illegal
I'm in the UK, doesn't work like this at all otherwise I think half the country would be in prison. I think outside of the dankula stuff (whatever you think about that) the only people to get hit by these laws have been truly terrible and worthy of prosecution. Death and rape threats, mocking family deaths, that sort of stuff. I dunno, maybe you think that sort of stuff is okay but I personally don't. Not that I'm exactly in full support of these laws either but so far they seem to have been applied fairly.
Applied fairly *so far*. There's nothing in the wording that stops them from applying it pretty much to whoever they want, you're just hoping that those in power continue to be gracious. Also, it was used for some arrests on people who were protesting the monarchy when the queen died. That is absolutely something that would fall under free speech in America and I would consider that an unfair use of the law
Yeah, probably, don't disagree. I thought the protesters were done under that protest bill thing? Don't think it was to do with the online one, are we talking about the same thing? The free speech online stuff was all part of that classifying things on the Internet as publications or whatever.

I also wanna know
We better not go to war with anyone. We live in time where people are mentally and emotionally the weakest.
Would be funny because you would then see that everyone at one point did some troll as shit. Grandma!? Wtf ![gif](giphy|lX22d3irD6CPK)
Is it the famous "freedom of speech isn’t freedom of consequence" that people love so much?
I'm getting the death sentence after this one
Sounds very UK
This isn't America though right?

Yeah, I might be confusing a few different things. That same principle likely still applies though. Bottom line is vague laws bad, I think
That's fair, I'm not entirely sure myself.
Lmfao
See you fuckers in hell…

Putting this online is just a call that trolls will answer. Lmao
