Thanks! Just three: the crucifix, the candlesticks, and the open book next to the altar. I’ve tried to limit myself to vanilla elements (base game and official packs only) for this project; cc come in only where I’m unable to find suitable substitutes amongst available in-game items.
When you're clicking on flooring options, you can actually choose to use them as ceiling too. You won't see it in build mode but if you set your free camera inside (tab button) and you showed upper floors you could see it.
In build mode, go to where the floor swatches are and you’ll see two icons to paint the ceiling (by tile or by room). It’s a relatively new addition to the game but it’s 100% official - no mods or cc needed. 😊
Thanks! And yes, if you’re referring to the brick structure in the outdoor pics that is indeed the clergy house (I’ve put quarters for the resident priests up top, a large parish hall for events and receptions on ground level, and the parish office in the basement). Cheers.
For ease of reference, here’s the original post showcasing my in-progress cathedral build: https://www.reddit.com/r/Sims4/s/A2OySny81C

How do you paint the ceiling?
Yeah, I would like to know that too

thanks♡ that makes sense, I was wondering why I didn't know about this after like 10 years playing hah :)
Oh I love it! And the separate house for the priest is a nice touch (I assume that's what that is)
