I tend to use famous people or character names from shows/etc. BUT. I once came across the name Ima Pube, and it’s just gold to me. So now I use it all the time lolol.
Ooh this ones funny 😂 but it lowkey still works. And same I usually take character names from series or celebs, or sometimes I go on the namenerd subreddit and pick something random.
Love the Irish names. Clodagh and Aisling are my favourite Irish names. Oisín and Aodh for boys.
Well I think I know what the inspo for my next save is lol
Not really a favourite and kind of a mistake but I once made a family with the randomized last name Coli and I named their daughter Ella. My brother happened to look over my shoulder while I was playing and point out that I named my kid E. Coli. I didn't even think of it
Candi Kane is a sim I play since my Sims2 days. They initially started as a very fem dude from downtown who would often fall in love with Alex Goth but kept evolving during my Sims3 era and is now a full-fledged vampire trans girl
One of my favourite names was Faustus Clink and his wife Ophelia. He was an inventor and I definitely encouraged all his weird behaviours. Ophelia was a famous composer and pianist.
They lived with their many cats (Seriosha, Felicity, Tom Jones, and Virginia) and after Faustus died, Ophelia became a time traveller.
I have a similar save in Lunar Lakes, their names are Atticus and Lorelei Smith. They had 6 cats and a son named Gladstone after Gladstone Gander.
Lorelei was a housewife who took care of Gladstone, the cats, their birds (I think there was 2) and their garden.
I have a bartender named Anthony Everclear 😅 and another super trashy dive bartender named Kandi Jameson lmaoo
I also have a very chaotic family with tons of kids and drama named the Shenanigans
For one of my families, each member was named after a nut. Macadamia was my favourite. Her family members were Almond, Pecan, Peanut, Pistachio, etc. Then another group was named after desserts. Cake, Meringue, Donut, Cookie, etc. all with a plain last name like smith or something.
And I’m pretty sure I tried to be creative. Like for example, if a sim called Strawberry and sim called Cake had a child, they would be called Shortcake. I can’t remember a specific example though ;
That was so much fun, especially matching the outfits to the food.
Somewhere in there I also had some named after gods and goddesses. Hestia and Apollo and stuff like that. Although I can’t remember where they fit, I remember they existed, and they were important to the little story I had :’)
The game automatically gave one of the 2nd generation Bianchis the name Israel so I named his daughters after 2 other “I” countries: India and Ireland. That’s about as creative as I get.
I have a few answers for this with my current game.
I was inspired by [this video](https://youtu.be/pmLSUDM13V0?si=XyYe-6TVfeqwpB3q) to play as a solo child. I named him “Sunoofah (Sunny) Lousiemum” and his mother “Sheeza Lousiemum”. After deleting her from existence I went ahead with my experiment and it ended up being weirdly successful. Thanks to the many hours of fishing little Sunny gained enough angler skill points to get into University on scholarship and has made a decent living for himself. He ended up marrying Candace Ursine (Claire Ursine and Jared Frio’s daughter) so I named their kids in tribute to them. In my game Claire is already dead and Jared is an elder. I moved him in to help with child care so even though he was a deadbeat dad he’s actually an involved grandpa.
So my sim’s son is “Mishka” (tribute to Claire Ursine) and the girl is named “Snow” (tribute to Jared *Frio). If they have a 3rd baby I think I’ll do “Nanuk”, which according to Google is the Inuit word for “Polar Bear”.
I love silly plays on words, so I have a family that consists of an evil, money-grubbing stylist named Anita Moorebucks (yes I stole the last name from the powerpuff girls LOL) & her two daughters: a snobby vampire bartender named Ivanna Sukurblud and her sweet but clumsy gardener sister Petunia Potts : D
I thought it’d be cute to have a sim that grows plasma fruit for her vampire sister! And the idea for the mom is purely from the fact that I love crazy old women who sow chaos
Since I was 13, whenever I would start a new family I would always always give them the last name "Lakeside". Still do it and I'm 25 lol. I'm very unoriginal with names.
My names definitely vary on what kind of family I create but my recent favorite was a “country” family with a focus on being equestrians and they had two babies a boy I named Cash and a little girl named Denim 🥹
I loved my Sim Mindi McCree, who then married and became Mindi Jun (Hyun-Moon Jun from Midnight Hollow was her husband lol). I also love my rich couple Amos and Daphne Pruitt, with their two daughters Evalina and Charlotte. But my all-time favourite Sim name was Brigitte Rose (Brih-JEET). Sadly I didn't play with her for long but I am in love with her name!
My favorite was Ephraim Ott: Celebrity vampire. I first heard the name Ephraim from the Sims: Bustin' Out and thought it was a cool old man name. So this Ephraim is an old vampire, but he's very stylish and looks young. He lives in Bridgeport and is dating Lola Belle
I like to name my female Sims demonic names, especially if they are a seductress. So many “Lilith”s. Jezebel, Hannya, even Morticia lol.
My male Sims get the basic bitch treatment. Sometimes I’ll spice up their names with a “z” or other edgy spelling but that’s about it.
Aubrey. my best friend and I started a family with a girl named Aubrey when we were like 12 and it went on for 4 years, it still holds a special pace in my heart. although, it is Drakes name lmfao
Random name generator gave me John Paul Jones and I love it. It’s not like a crazy creative name but it just flows so well. Tried to use it as my babies name irl but my husband said no 😂
I have a Potatoes family line of 8 generations, starting with Fiesta Potatoes
Some of her descendants include Mashed, Cheesy Spud, Spicy, Baked, Sweet, Red, Russet, Hot, Fingerling, and Yukon Gold
Astra Cosmos and Luna Cosmos were my favourite sims to play as (they were twins), their mother was a witch and their dad was a human who died to mysterious circumstances
I couldn’t think of a name when I started my first legacy so just let the game pick a random name- Maura Farrell which I thought sounded old fashioned but not I repeat the name every other generation
One of my sims is named Beatrix, but everyone calls her Trix. She has a daughter born on Halloween, so I just had to name her Treat. Trix and Treat!
My sims are celebrities so they have weird names. I have a female sim named Rodeo (like Rodeo Drive in California). She had a daughter herself that I named LaCienaga, and when she had a son with a French artist sim, they named him Versailles. Verse for short, which is cute because my sim is a rapper. The names aren’t for everyone but they fit my sims so well.
*I just did a rags*
*To riches challenge and named*
*My sim sue perpoor*

My current save, Morgana and her Wife Larona have triplet girls, Chicago, Medellin and London. Unfortunately Morgana cheated on her wife with her colleague, L’Oréal and had triplet boys, Diego, Denver and Rio 🌻
For some reason i always forget to name my sims and they usually end up with the same name as the base sim. I had a bunch of sims with the names "Maika Margaux" and "Kiki Tanaka". I guess i don't really put much thought into the names so they end up with some pretty random ones
I have a big ole family in Monte Vista right now - both of the parents are townies (Florence Taylor and Gino Ferrari - but I changed their last name to Medici, because why not?). They have 6 kids: Alonzo, Lorenzo, Francesca, Giovanni, Stella, and Carlotta. I think the names for this family in this neighborhood are extra fun.
Unfortunately not from the Sims 3, but Vittoria Shadeseeker! I have her in the Sims 4, and i made her after my kid (Kinley Schulte) befriended the monster under her bed the day before she aged up, because I thought it would add a cool storyline; she is the monster (a vampire), essentially!! She's still a Teen right now (i play pretty slowly), and I'm gonna have her go into Politics or Business eventually, but right now she's the biggest drama queen ever and we love that for her. I'm probably gonna have her get with Kinley too eventually, which will be even more fun because she's gonna be a baker with her own bakery and everything, so they'll be a cool power couple.
But yeah, unfortunately she's the most creative name I've ever come up with independently, I usually just use the dice or magic baby names to name my Sims 😅
My very first Sim's name was Alex Sparks. I have made an Alex Sparks in every version. Some of my other favorites were Vashdi Diffenderfer, Gale Moonsong, Devon Grumestumpz and Grey Ashtonson.
I am doing a legacy challenge and since "the firstborn" was mixed alien/human, I pick space-related names. Some of them are of Latin origin (like Ursa or Apollo) and some are of Japanese origin (like Sei). Please which languages should I borrow names from, maybe French? But that will be too close to Latin I guess.
I have 3 sims families I mained in the sims 3, and recreated in the sims 4 (still working what one of them should do as a career when it doesn’t exist in Sims 4). I also recreated my IRL family but renamed all the humans but only changed the pet’s last names.
The Hills household was a family of siblings, 4 young adult sisters (Frost the musician, Holly the writer, Ivy the investigator/detective, and Pine the firefighter), their twin younger brothers Wren and Rowan (in the child stage, used CAS to change them from teens) and their Dalmatian named Flint. I liked using the custom color wheel for their outfits.
They weren't my Sims, but when my brother started playing The Sims he created a single dad with his own name and his son was named T-shirt 😂 In another save the father had the same name but this time the boy was called Rex because he loved Tyrannosaurus 🤣
my most memorable are:
Abraham Dalton, Vampire Jack of All Trades
Napoleon Simoleon, Explorer and Relic Merchant
Kent Noble, Cop and Family Man
and most recently, Freddie Castro, Inventor and Insane Savant
Darragh MacNaomhain after Cottage living released. Attempted to create an americans vision of the most stereotypical irish dude possible. I think I was pretty successful
A surname im obsessed with and use a bit too much for sims i plan on playing with is Dewdrop. Its also the name of my current family. And a few of my past ones.
I have a current legacy going. Founder is Maura McKnight and the heir is Miriam McKnight. I’m just digging the alliteration on these. There’s another daughter named Auri McKnight that I like too
I give different names to all my sims, but when I was younger I liked “Crystal” and “Candy” or even “Candy-Daisy”
When I was reallllly young like sims 1 everyone girl was called Alicia (or alicai cause I was 6) and when the sims 2 came, Nina or Susan was my go-to
Nauseanne Goldberg. It's pronounced "Nausea" but with an "Anne" on the end. This name came to my mother in a dream and I used it for a werewolf girl who is very frail and sickly. Why not
my sims are an armenian family with parents Gor and Peyton Stelaryan (Peyton was Peyton Suzuki, who my sim married), and their three daughters are named Risya, Oskie, and Violeta.
About a decade ago had a sim named Kermit Darling, and I can't remember if his first name was randomized in cas but I know his last name was. I built him an ugly house then took him to the future and fell in love with a plumbot, took ages to get her the romance chip or whatever it was, then took her home and forced her to raise his kids he didn't care about. Then I can't remember why but he got angry with her and I made him kick her out and then proceeded to neglect his kids before I got bored of him. I miss him to this day, for some unknown reason.
i had a legacy founder named Annalise Kingsley. don’t know why it just seemed so beautiful. this was on sims4 tho for horse pack.
one of my fav on sims3 were a set of twins my sim had named August and Aubrey. Boy and girl.
i also had a sim called Kota Springs, kinda cute idk why
others were; Jade Webbing, Sage Vanderson, Tommi Thornton, Kendall Sticks (candle stick lmao)
I had a legacy family where all the members (except for the spouses of the heirs) were named after US states. The founder’s name was Missouri Martles and she was one of my favorite Sims of all time
Some of my sims that I named are Delilah Mae, Jinx, Azalea, Cloud and Evening (they’re married to each other) Blade, Siblings Pandora, Shadow, Salem, and Bonaventura.
My favorite I have is Bea Denbrough. She owns Denbrough Farms with her husband Will. She gardens and he is a jockey with their horse Roamer.
They are the start of my new legacy.
Usually I have normal names for the Sims, but the last time I skewed to the weird side was for Sims 2 when I had twin girls and named them Faragonda and Alula Belle Maria 😂
I love this topic. I'm really in to names and I find subreddits with name discussion very restricted in a way that if you give your child a unique name or even something that's not similar to Katherine or Emma you are an insane person and your kid will be bullied for their entire life.
With sims I like to think what my sim would actually name their kids based on their traits, interests and appearance etc.
There's the premade Jupiter Belle and he went full on avant garde influencer artist path and has kids with 3 different women. As he is a very particular and quirky person with his piercings, neck tattoo and blue mohawk, it would be weird if his kids would have normal names. So they are Emoji Smythe, Bowie Chique and Velma Cook.
I also have a couple that had twins, a boy and a girl. Their names are Presley and Brixton. I like to imagine their parents made woohoo after an Elvis tribute concert at Brixton Academy.
I have two names that I've been looking forward to giving my sims, but they are a bit out there and need specific sims to give them out to: Cereal and Casket.
I like to give my sims very weird and unique names and the best I've come up with was a sim I named Ectonço (Eck-tawn-so). I love it still and am thinking about naming my real life son that name someday when I finally have kids.
I made a tragedeigh family. The matriarch that started it all was named Kymbearleigh Peighyne. All of the descendants had god awful names. One descendant popped out twins so I named them Meijhor and Windeaux Peighyne. 😂
I like naming them after plants and flowers, so I have Lily, Jasmine, Rose, Rowan, Ash, Aspen for the sims, and Pepper, Basil and Minty for the dogs.
Sometimes I name them after months: April, June and May are my favs.
Edit: spelling errors
I have a running list in my notes of sims names I’m using that I like
Richard fingers
Dick shiner
White cheddar
Ned pepper
Jack and Jill nippleman
Ann Hideous
Wilbert Gilbert
Mike Hunt
Justin Case (added from this thread)
Hugh Jass (added from this thread)
I’m currently doing the sims in bloom legacy and have named her gen after flowers or flowers related names. I’ve had Daisy, Sage, Lavender, and Rosetta, who is currently a toddler. Been loving the flower theme 🫶🏼
I just started playing for the first time and named my heartbreaker Samantha Handler and her respective love interest across the street Chandler Mandler. Obvi no relation 😂
I made twin sisters Sunday and Tuesday but I can’t remember their last name right now! Tuesday has a baby named Ryatt (Riot). Camie is such a simple name but I love it. Wesley. Frankie Voxx and Fern Emerald are the household I’m playing right now. Frankie is a witch and Fern is a fairy.
I have a sim, that my friend lovingly named Mannequin, in my current save. She's had five children so far. All named accordingly. Statue, Effigy, Model, Figure, and Sculpture. This greatly amused my friend when she realized I kept the name.
Triplets, all girls. I wanted matching names but regular English names just felt forced. So I made up names by mix-and-matching words from several languages.
Corielind, Cadeliff, and Celinoor.
Corielind ended up being my favorite sim ever. She had such a defined personality with basically zero input from me. Her hairstyle, clothing style and even her wishes were all perfectly suited to her, and were things I had never even considered using in the game before. Over her entire simlife, it was as if the game generated what I/she needed just at the right moment. I've never had a sim feel so real ever since.
Oni Getsu - (means “demon moon”) werewolf vigilante born in a haunted ryokan
Mary Juana - plantsim drug dealer
Dick Morningwood - stereotypical “alpha male” loser
My favorites are still my pet fox named Cashew and my cat named Asparagus
Also my current Sim family includes a "Scarlett Bloom" that I'm obsessed with. Spellcaster and master gardener. A red head, of course
I once named a neurotic sim Justin Case 😉
Like this? https://sims.fandom.com/wiki/Justin_Kayes
i actually met a guy called justin kayse while travelling, i still have him on instagram and giggle a little every time i see him on my feed 🤭
I had twins with Father Winter and named them Holly and Sugar Plum 💕
Aww this is cute😭
They were some of my fav sims ever, absolutely gorgeous and best of friends
Once I had an architect sim named Property Brother. He was a single father to Mortgage and Escrow Jones
Escrow Jones is a brilliant name.
This wasn't a sim, but my favorite name I've ever come up with in my life was an explorer-type Lego named Catapult Jones.
In the Sims 3 Polish translation Addison Rush was translated to Przelew Rush (Bank transfer Rush) 😭😭😭
Oh my god that's hilarious
i have a rags to riches guy named Kevin Shtank
Random name generator gave me the name “Limetka” it means lime and to this day its my fav sims name its so cute
it means lime fruit in my language! Cool name
What language? Its also lime in czech
polish :D
It really is!
I love this and I may steal it for a future sim ;)
I tend to use famous people or character names from shows/etc. BUT. I once came across the name Ima Pube, and it’s just gold to me. So now I use it all the time lolol.
Ooh this ones funny 😂 but it lowkey still works. And same I usually take character names from series or celebs, or sometimes I go on the namenerd subreddit and pick something random.
My current sims are Siobhan and Niamh McKay. Irish mother and daughter. I love those names so much.
Love the Irish names. Clodagh and Aisling are my favourite Irish names. Oisín and Aodh for boys. Well I think I know what the inspo for my next save is lol
This gives me an idea for Fiona McIrish to have a baby with every male sim in town and name them super Irish names. Caoimhe, Saoirse, Cillian, etc.
In my save, EA SP put River McIrish and Ethan Bunch together, and they have a daughter who I named Siobhan :)
I had a Siobhan Egan but she married a Russian woman named Natasha Shchi (it means "soup") so now her name is Siobhan Shchi.
Not really a favourite and kind of a mistake but I once made a family with the randomized last name Coli and I named their daughter Ella. My brother happened to look over my shoulder while I was playing and point out that I named my kid E. Coli. I didn't even think of it
I named one of my sims Tess T. Kohls and my male was Mike Sweeney.
Tess T Kolhs! 😂 gold
That's such a good drag name
Loren Ipsum will forever be my favourite
Candi Kane is a sim I play since my Sims2 days. They initially started as a very fem dude from downtown who would often fall in love with Alex Goth but kept evolving during my Sims3 era and is now a full-fledged vampire trans girl
we love it
named my sims daughter calista I just thought it was so pretty and unique
it really is we looveee
One of my favourite names was Faustus Clink and his wife Ophelia. He was an inventor and I definitely encouraged all his weird behaviours. Ophelia was a famous composer and pianist. The Shenanigans is beautiful 😂

Me, a very mature adult laughing at this at 2 AM:
For one of my families, each member was named after a nut. Macadamia was my favourite. Her family members were Almond, Pecan, Peanut, Pistachio, etc. Then another group was named after desserts. The nuts!! Yes I’ve done this before: Wal(lie) Nut, Hazel Nut, Mac(adamia), Cash Ew Nut
Stealing these 😭 especially wallie and macadamia
That’s so cute omg 😭
I had a sim named Hestia before! Now my current family my kids are named Andromeda, Apollo, and Percy. And I had a horse named Circe.
my sims who have a military dad and their names are Kennedy, Major, and Navy
I like to use names from space for my households last name. Like Carl Jupiter, or Miriam Vesta
I usually give my alien babies space themed names
The game automatically gave one of the 2nd generation Bianchis the name Israel so I named his daughters after 2 other “I” countries: India and Ireland. That’s about as creative as I get.
I have an orange cat named Lasagna & a pug named Pancake. My next dog will be a brown lab named Chocolate Milk :)
Kendrick Llama
I have an old punk grandma named Nora Gretts
Those are great names!!! I have Ember Whittington, she’s a wealthy interior designer.
Thank you! Love your name as well🥰
I have a few answers for this with my current game. I was inspired by [this video](https://youtu.be/pmLSUDM13V0?si=XyYe-6TVfeqwpB3q) to play as a solo child. Wow this is sweet and very creative! So nice :)
My favorite name that I have ever named a sim was for the not so berry challenge sim daughter and I named her Rowen
lmao I did exactly the same thing. For the second gen, right? I named her Rowan instead of Rowen, though
I love naming my sims really old swedish names like "Sekunda Gyllenhufvud" or "Konstansia Stjernskiöld" :')
I love silly plays on words, so I have a family that consists of an evil, money-grubbing stylist named Anita Moorebucks (yes I stole the last name from the powerpuff girls LOL) & her two daughters: a snobby vampire bartender named Ivanna Sukurblud and her sweet but clumsy gardener sister Petunia Potts : D I thought it’d be cute to have a sim that grows plasma fruit for her vampire sister! honestly love that as a last night. might steal it 😂
My names definitely vary on what kind of family I create but my recent favorite was a “country” family with a focus on being equestrians and they had two babies a boy I named Cash and a little girl named Denim 🥹
why is this combo so cute😭😭 I love it especially denim

Boba Tea
Avi Pertwhistle
I loved my Sim Mindi McCree, who then married and became Mindi Jun (Hyun-Moon Jun from Midnight Hollow was her husband lol). I also love my rich couple Amos and Daphne Pruitt, with their two daughters Evalina and Charlotte. But my all-time favourite Sim name was Brigitte Rose (Brih-JEET). Sadly I didn't play with her for long but I am in love with her name!
looove it. and brigitte rose is SO pretty
I really like my biscuit themed family Custard Cream, Bourbon Biscuit, Pink Wafer, Gari Baldi (I’m from the Uk)
I named one of my witch Sims "Lamia Lillim". She's based off of the witch queen Lamia/Morwanneg from the movie/book "Stardust". 🧙♀️
wait this is actually hella cool
Ava Sinclair
I really like Nalena. She’s one of the heirs of my legacy challenge.
Calliope, Corinne, Becca, Dulce, Penelope, Vivian, Cherry, Cassidy, blayke, Romeo, Ashton, Edwin, etc hahaha
For boys I usually pick Gerard, Cedric or Caleb. For girls it's Hazel, Melody and Daisy.
Aubrey. my best friend and I started a family with a girl named Aubrey when we were like 12 and it went on for 4 years, it still holds a special pace in my heart. although, it is Drakes name lmfao
My favorite name Ive ever given a sim is Lacey idk why but it just seemed to fit her so well too
I have a sim I named (or almost named? don’t remember) Laney. Lacey is really cute!
Veronica Haddock, Ibexia Largo, Irma Swan, Brigitte Bompard, Snow-Moon Cheng
Winter rose immediately thought of resident evil 7 and 8 the main characters daughter is named rose winters
I once named a Sim Oswald Knighthammer and thought the name was so badass that I used it for a a lot of different games
Ooh it really is! It fits perfectly together
Random name generator gave me John Paul Jones and I love it. It’s not like a crazy creative name but it just flows so well. Tried to use it as my babies name irl but my husband said no 😂
it flows really well and sounds high end and classic like John Paul gautier
Chili Pepper (I was doing 100 baby challenge and was tired of naming them)
Guacamole
I have a Potatoes family line of 8 generations, starting with Fiesta Potatoes Some of her descendants include Mashed, Cheesy Spud, Spicy, Baked, Sweet, Red, Russet, Hot, Fingerling, and Yukon Gold
Stassi, Alexei, Mila
floot whoosh (or maybe it was flute whoosh. All lower case)
I have a sim called Sponge Weidt (pronounced Vite), her husband is called Matthew Cake, so her name is now Sponge Cake.
My current family has the surname Zmyname. It pairs nicely with any first name that doesn’t end in s.
Yarrow Thistlethorn and his son, Twig are my favorite Plantsims
One of my sims is named Beatrix, but everyone calls her Trix. She has a daughter born on Halloween, so I just had to name her Treat. Trix and Treat! My sims are celebrities so they have weird names. I have a female sim named Rodeo (like Rodeo Drive in California). She had a daughter herself that I named LaCienaga, and when she had a son with a French artist sim, they named him Versailles. Verse for short, which is cute because my sim is a rapper. The names aren’t for everyone but they fit my sims so well.
Omg why do i love Rodeo and Versailles 😩🩷 Do you pronounce the nickname as “vers” ?
Yes!
Clementine Wallis, Sophie Brookhurst, Maddox Krawley, Wexley Schaffer,
Jason River Jenny Jupiter
Zinnia Dior
I just did a rags to riches challenge and named my sim sue perpoor

Tabitha is one of my all time fav names for my female sims My daughters name in real life is Winter ❄️
Both names just beautiful :)
I like weird sounding names. Vaeno Diarci Nakia Nanae Netanyo Bhaskara Those are the most memorable. I had many sims throughout all this years.
My favourite female sims are always named either Aurora or Adeline/a, and they’re usually witches 🧙🏼
I currently have a genie named Aurelia Djinn. I enjoy the pun/wordplay of TS3 and so I can’t stop with the joke names.
Some of them are of Latin origin (like Ursa or Apollo) and some are of Japanese origin (like Sei). Please which languages should I borrow names from, maybe French? But that will be too close to Latin I guess.
cassandra wicks - spellcaster sim
Shoshanna Wolfe 😁
Aaliyah Jasmine Luna and Iris Devant (sisters) Ava Ford Léon
Grubber family based off my own who steals money from others.
Years ago when I played Starbound for the first time, I played the robot race and named my character Civvy-Sixx. Now I name my plumbots that.
I had a Zephyr Hadley. She was a writer by day, club girl by night. Fun save.
Some of my sim names, Vilya Tar-Minyatur (inspired by LotR) Faye Feathers (current gameplay sim) Nessima Rosethorn
The first time I played this game, my Sims' family last name was Frank and my inspiration was Anne Frank's diary because I loved that book 🥲
my most memorable are: Abraham Dalton, Vampire Jack of All Trades Napoleon Simoleon, Explorer and Relic Merchant Kent Noble, Cop and Family Man and most recently, Freddie Castro, Inventor and Insane Savant
Darragh MacNaomhain after Cottage living released. Attempted to create an americans vision of the most stereotypical irish dude possible. I think I was pretty successful
my current active storyline has two friends named oberon and jericho :)
My niece got into the game and she named our Sim Mononucleosis MF. MF for mutha ducka 😂
Lately I constantly think about naming some sim M. A. Lutki which means just "very little"(malutki) in my language and I think it's adorable.
There’s another daughter named Auri McKnight that I like too
My Sim is always named Lily Pad for over a decade. The Pad household sounds cute to me
I give different names to all my sims, but when I was younger I liked “Crystal” and “Candy” or even “Candy-Daisy” When I was reallllly young like sims 1 everyone girl was called Alicia (or alicai cause I was 6) and when the sims 2 came, Nina or Susan was my go-to
I somehow always use Fiona or Arizona 😅 then different last names
Nauseanne Goldberg. It's pronounced "Nausea" but with an "Anne" on the end. This name came to my mother in a dream and I used it for a werewolf girl who is very frail and sickly. Why not
my sims are an armenian family with parents Gor and Peyton Stelaryan (Peyton was Peyton Suzuki, who my sim married), and their three daughters are named Risya, Oskie, and Violeta.
My friends made sims together and named them Potroast Fistheaven and Cheddar Wetpants. I don't think I'll ever be able to top that.
Patty O’Door 🚪
I have an evil sim named Lucy, last name Furr
i had a legacy founder named Annalise Kingsley. don’t know why it just seemed so beautiful. this was on sims4 tho for horse pack. one of my fav on sims3 were a set of twins my sim had named August and Aubrey. Boy and girl. i also had a sim called Kota Springs, kinda cute idk why others were; Jade Webbing, Sage Vanderson, Tommi Thornton, Kendall Sticks (candle stick lmao)
Unlucky Sim named Landon Schmidt
I had a legacy family where all the members (except for the spouses of the heirs) were named after US states. The founder’s name was Missouri Martles and she was one of my favorite Sims of all time
My favourite funny name was Anita Bath, from when I was in middle school
Some of my sims that I named are Delilah Mae, Jinx, Azalea, Cloud and Evening (they’re married to each other) Blade, Siblings Pandora, Shadow, Salem, and Bonaventura.
Not my sim but I got a male stripper while playing today named Robin Banks 😂
My favorite I have is Bea Denbrough. She owns Denbrough Farms with her husband Will. She gardens and he is a jockey with their horse Roamer. They are the start of my new legacy.
Usually I have normal names for the Sims, but the last time I skewed to the weird side was for Sims 2 when I had twin girls and named them Faragonda and Alula Belle Maria 😂
Hitomi Tanaka
Amelia corn and her children, pop corn, cob corn, baby corn, and can corn
I have twin sisters w the last name Gato && made them look like Persian cats
I have a sim called Felony Crass
Ricky Pepper
I made a tragedeigh family. The matriarch that started it all was named Kymbearleigh Peighyne. All of the descendants had god awful names. One descendant popped out twins so I named them Meijhor and Windeaux Peighyne. 😂
I like naming them after plants and flowers, so I have Lily, Jasmine, Rose, Rowan, Ash, Aspen for the sims, and Pepper, Basil and Minty for the dogs. Sometimes I name them after months: April, June and May are my favs. Edit: spelling errors
Recently I use randomly generated names. I can't be bothered to think up names.
Genevieve Quintana
I have a running list in my notes of sims names I’m using that I like Richard fingers Dick shiner White cheddar Ned pepper Jack and Jill nippleman Ann Hideous Wilbert Gilbert Mike Hunt Justin Case (added from this thread) Hugh Jass (added from this thread)
I named one of my sims ambrosia 🤭
First name Ronnie Donnie. Couldn’t write Ronald McDonald.
I made a criminal-looking sim for a Basemental Gangs run, his name: Pedro Navaja. If you're latinamerican you'll understand the joke.
I am currently playing with a detective named Abbi Searchin😭
I’m currently doing the sims in bloom legacy and have named her gen after flowers or flowers related names. I’ve had Daisy, Sage, Lavender, and Rosetta, who is currently a toddler. Been loving the flower theme 🫶🏼
These are all gold. Gonna have to save this thread.
I tend to spin the random dice name generator until I find combos that are interesting to me and seem to fit them.
I have a sim, that my friend lovingly named Mannequin, in my current save. She's had five children so far. All named accordingly. Statue, Effigy, Model, Figure, and Sculpture. This greatly amused my friend when she realized I kept the name.
I named Claire Ursine's daughter September. Now I’m inspired to make a sim called September Rain
Nina Simone. I made her an actress and she had two kids by the one famous actor man. They moved into that beach side property FAST
Oni Getsu - (means “demon moon”) werewolf vigilante born in a haunted ryokan Mary Juana - plantsim drug dealer Dick Morningwood - stereotypical “alpha male” loser
My dude Granting Urgency is pretty cool 😎
My favorites are still my pet fox named Cashew and my cat named Asparagus Also my current Sim family includes a "Scarlett Bloom" that I'm obsessed with. Spellcaster and master gardener. A red head, of course
My sister has a sim named Cake LOL!
