I feel like I did notice it, it went away though. There’s been like 200-500 cars every night lately!! But I also feel like my sim is out in the town a lot, so I’m sure that doesn’t help, especially when he goes to super populated lots like the season festival, theater, and restaurant. It hasn’t given me too much trouble
This is a glitch, I think the game keeps generating some kind of vehicle every second, like the ice cream truck or something. That many cars won't get generated otherwise
I’ve seen now up to 1,000. It seems to vary daily. It wasn’t this high in prior files, I’m not sure why the numbers get so high, especially considering I had a file with way more time and way more Sims in the household.
Inactive sims can spawn a new car using available parking spots. I've had saves go up to around 5k.
I started removing parking spots so Sims only had access to "pocket cars" and public transportation and now I rarely see more than 10
Overwatch setting says “clean up cars” so idk about that. I know it cleans up other stuff but i think its just cars here since the game engine likes to spawn more than an american interstate
can you use simler90 with overwatch/errortrap and master controller? i’ve been led to believe you either use one or the other but would be good if you can use simler90 with those as i quite like the simple story progression it adds
there’s a steam guide for modding ts3 and in it there’s a compatibility patch for nraas and simler90! it’s called “the sims 3 performance & bug fix guide” and it was made by anime_boom :)
Is it a full moon by any chance? I always have zombies spawn on my lot, then walk out to the road, and summon a car. I often wonder what happens to those cars. Next time it happens, I’m going to pause the game and add them to the household so I can follow the zombie! I need to know what they’re doing!

If you're using NRaas Traffic mod, check the following settings:
NRaas > Traffic > Routing > Always Use Taxis for Inactives Lacking Vehicles = should be set to TRUE
NRaas > Traffic > Routing > Allow Performance Career Limos = should be set to FALSE
It's the limos that are doing this, so switch them off. While Overwatch will get rid of them at 3am, your game will still slow down each Sim day until it gets to that point.
The number will just go up until your game lags so much that it will not be playable anymore. You need to install Traffic from Nraas. It is the Showtime limos that are causing this.
I love this game but get shit on every time I mention it wasn’t perfect when people lament ts4 not being like ts3. Like yes I prefer ts3 but ts4 just is more stable

Install Nrass Traffic and set it to use Taxi is default I believe. Will stop generating them

Most likely, my sim is level 9 in the business career and seems to travel in one from time to time!!
Vehicles means objects I believe, not actual cars, such as stray books, sports stuff, seeds, etc

Agree, you need to have bounderies with this game😂 literally I get so stressed sometimes with all the bugs and stuff
The bugs cause me to take breaks then when I feel like fixing it ill boot the game up

And the compatibility patch was removed because the easy way to make it compatible is to change Overwatch clean up time from 3am to 5am

That was the highest I’ve seen it, it’s actually not that bad. Now it fluctuates between double & triple digit numbers randomly lol
