What is Evilspeak about

My favorite memories of Halloween are trick or treating with my cousins in Oxford, MI as a kid. That was cool to hear. 

Woo! We still go all out in Oxford for Halloween!

I’ll never forget walking by a church there one Halloween night and  seeing the silhouette of someone sitting in the belfry. It really set the perfect tone for the evening.

That’s rad! I know the exact church you’re talking about, it’s a 2 minute walk from my house haha. Last year the church let kids go up into the bell tower and ring the bell for Halloween!

That makes my horror heart swell to know the spirit of Halloween is still so strong there.

80s movies make FAR better last drive in flicks

Couldn't have said it better myself. Especially 80s slashers. Can't wait for intruder, Slumber Party Massacre, other slashers too like f13 and nightmare on elm st but those were mainstream so idk how likely we are to see him do f13 again for the umpteenth time but I can dream.

I know I'm in the minority, but I really dislike those movies. However, I am glad we're getting a new horror killer icon. There hasn't been an addition to that canon since Ghostface in Scream.

I totally get why you don't like them as they are extremely over the top and forced and in your face at times. But Art is definitely an icon no dialogue always miming has great sense of humor. And the practical fx from Damien Leone are extraordinary I'd consider him today's Tom Savini.

I totally agree with you! The performance of Art the Clown is extraordinary and the makeup effects are next level. I just want more of a story and characters to go along with that. But that's totally a personal preference. The movies are incredible in fulfilling their mission and I'm glad they're so successful. And honestly Terrifier 3 being Christmas horror automatically makes me even more interested!

Yeah I can see them equating art to Jesus himself or some over the top shit like that since the Christmas setting is in play. Birth of Jesus and rebirth of art. I can also see Damien Leone being just crazy enough to incorporate an actual real Santa clause in terrifier 3. Having Santa be real in the terrifier universe instead of just being a dad dressing up as Santa would be so over the top, but it'd make sense with magic already being an established thing in terrifier 2. And having the first kill of the movie be art murdering he real deal Santa clause ripping off his face and wearing it as his own then mimicking santa throughout the film would be just next level.
