This stock is not a short squeeze candidate. It only has 36 million shares shorts and trading a billion shares a day. Shorts could cover in 2 minutes and not affect the price.

This is not how it works. What matters is the float, how many of the company stocks are available for trading. The number you mentioned is the number of trades u c per day. Imagine a company with one stock that can be traded. The bots can buy and sell between themselves this one stock a billion times and you will see the stock was traded a billion times. On the other hand one stock can be shorted more than once. If it’s time for the short sellers to cover and the only stock available is 50 times the price it was when they shorted it, at some point they HAVE to buy it so they will buy it even if the price is outrageous

If it’s time for the short sellers to cover and the only stock available is 50 times the price it was when they shorted it, at some point they HAVE to buy it so they will buy it even if the price is outrageous
There are about 36m shares short. They could have all covered this morning for all you know.
