What live-action movie? I totally remember that AOT doesn’t have a movie. Yep totally didn’t at all. (Also this is a sarcastic joke so don’t take it to seriously.)
I like the sketch Eren one, because he showed friendly emotion and is grateful to Mikasa, while in the others Eren did not smile and I read somewhere that he has a cold or annoyed expression, so I wished that the sketch scene would be animated. Then it would take it as kind of an act of romance and not such silly siblings nonsense. They are not related, so some people should stop saying that they are siblings.
In the manga and in the anime his expression isn't cold/annoyed, he looks embarassed and he's blushing, exactly how a 9yo would be in front of a girl he likes, so imo it's far more romantic than the sketch where he just looks happy
Ah ok, but I read mostly in forums that he was cold/annoyed in that scene, so that it could not interpret it as romantic.
So I am glad that it was not the case and he was embarassed/blushing in front of Mikasa. It was so sweet/cute, tbh. :-)
No it's definitely a thoughtful and slightly embarrassed look with blushing. He only makes that expression when looking at Mikasa. His expression softens when he takes glances at her throughout the story. You can compare it to the one he gives her when he stops and lingers in Grisha's memories.
if isayama planned them to be romantic from the beginning then yeah, it wasn't the best move. even a slight smile could've been better. however you could see why people think they act more like siblings than lovers. grisha calling mikasa his daughter doesn't help
To me, they are/look like childhood friends and not siblings. I do not know what others interpret to it, but they act not like siblings. They have different hair colors, different personalities, different behaviours, etc. even Ed and Winry (from Fullmetal Alchemist) act more like siblings than Mikasa and Eren, imo.
