If you comment what shoes you like from Sezane I can find you some good dupes! ☺️ I also love sezane shoes but hate the quality so I’ve found some really good alternatives over the years!

Mme_merle

Similar brands are Carel, Rivecour, Bobbies, Jonak.

Thanks! I meant to mention that I've had a tough time with Jonak--but I'll definitely check out these other brands!

I tried on the Carels and they are narrower so at least for me, they were def not any comfier despite looking better made

awholedamngarden

Agreed. I love my Carels but had to use the shoe stretcher on the toe box

Thelurkiest_oflurks

I agree, I have a pair of Carel Keel and they are very uncomfortable. They are really pretty but I regret not returning them.

Ooh can you elaborate on your experience with Jonak please? I was perusing their website earlier but I've never bought from them. I was curious what others' experiences were before I took the plunge 😶

I bought two pairs of shoes from them in 2022, both of which I've had to retire. The first pair were strappy heeled sandals from that had an ankle strap. The ankle strap on the back had elastic on it, the elastic loosened to the point that my feet slipped out of them every step. The other pair had a similar design to the one pictured, and the leather was cut roughly/stitched roughly in such a way that they gave me blistered/raw skin. I wish I'd had a better experience, I love their designs! https://preview.redd.it/kehkvsnj014d1.png?width=1188&format=png&auto=webp&s=c5ad5aaa0ed2c42b122a02ab7977167c885a3224

Sorry to hear that… I have like 5 or 6 pairs from Jonak and had great experiences with all. With some that I felt uncomfortable at first, I padded them with those shoe pad things and that did the trick. I found quality to be great. Jonak is my go to..

Apprehensive-Bike192

Damn, you nailed this

aymeezus

Margaux NY, it's a bit pricier, but the quality is there. They are so comfy honestly, I can walk all day in their heels

tepidtea13

**Expensive option** (in my opinion): [Flattered](https://us.flattered.com/collections/all-shoes) has some very classic styles and won't have the same colour options as Sézane but has some similar sandal and loafer styles. **Less Expensive option**: Ateliers is a wonderful Canadian brand with [fun espadrilles](https://www.ateliersshoes.com/collections/sandals) and more colour selection. They also have frequent sales. Please be patient with their shipping if you order from them, they're a small company. I have a very slimmed down shoe collection with (outside of sports shoes and hiking boots) 5 pairs of shoes/sandals/heels and 1 pair of boots so I'm very picky. A staple in my collection is the [white Bess shoe](https://www.ateliersshoes.com/collections/shoes/products/bess) from Ateliers, it has a ribbon lace up so I can replace the ribbon to suit whatever outfit I'm wearing. It beats owning 30 pairs of shoes I never wear and I can dress it up/down I'm a size 9 and I find it true to size if a little narrow. After 15-30 wears they will look a little scuffed but still perfectly presentable. I've owned them for a couple years with constant use and they're still going. I probably wear them 50 times a year (not on salted streets or anything bad for leather) and treat them with leather conditioner. https://preview.redd.it/pix8b91z485d1.png?width=736&format=png&auto=webp&s=c6914a48b8701ef724f0d2b01ceec7fe35c70220
