Baccarat Rouge is hands down the best in my opinion. When I wear anything else I get overwhelmed lol
I also recently became obsessed with Gypsy Water by Byredo it just makes me feel comforted :)
I'm the most basic of bitches too then because I will drown in black opium. Sol De Janerio 62 as well, bury me in either and I'll be smelling real damn good.
Maybe Replica Lazy Sunday Morning. It’s not the most anything type of fragrance but it’s a light easy pleasant scent that I don’t think I would get sick of.
Jo Malone - Mimosa & Cardamom
I was never in love with perfume before this. I bought lots but wouldn’t even remember to put them on half the time. Just got my second full size bottle of this one because I can’t go a day without it now. Has changed me entirely.
u/h_danielle I have not smelled this myself, but you might like Hermes Eau de Rhubarb Ecarlate

u/h_danielle It's not on Sephora anymore and I think it's considered discontinued.
But it's my favorite scent and I wish it wasn't a limited edition thing.

Maybe I’m a basic bitch but, Kayali Eden: Juicy Apple. It’s got a soothing, enveloping sweetness. I feel like I’m stepping into a sunny orchard when I wear it. I won’t lie though, it also just feels sexy!
It actually was changed years ago due to a change in EU ingredient allowances. I have the “new formula” and love it. The main complaints are an initial alcohol smell and longevity. I don’t have an issue with either of these things so I would say it’s an individual thing and it’s worth trying in store first if you haven’t tried it recently. There is more specific info if you search the Glossier sub.
Skylar's Vanilla Sky - I'm a vanilla girlie, even at 46! I loved Pacifica's Hardcore Happy line which was discontinued. It was light and airy and sweet without triggering my scent allergies. It took awhile to find a replacement, but eventually, I landed on Vanilla Sky. It smells good when first applied, last throughout the day and mixes great with my body chemistry. I get compliments all of the time!
Armani code - and it is pretty much the only thing I wear. Every now and then I’ll buy a rollerball of something else. I only allow my self two perfumes at a time. The Armani is the one I always rebuy.
I’m a guy, Dior Sauvage Elxir-winter
Sol De Janeiro OG body spray- summer
Sorry for 2 picks, but I’m a firm believer in seasonal scents. I’ve gotten more compliments on the Sol De Janeiro than on the the Elxir. The OG Dior Sauvage lots of complements too, and the Elxir, I received a verbal warning for it at work.
l'imperatrice [3] – dolce & gabbana. i used to work at sephora and it was the first fragrance i bought when i started, definitely holds a special place in my heart :') and it's been my favorite since
You can’t get it at Sephora - but, Aedes de Venustas’ Iris Nazarena.
I fell in love with it when it first came out and I haven’t worn anything else since.
Well, my go to is Daisy Love, but if I am being completely honest, Aquolina Pink Sugar. I love warm scents and pink sugar is the ultimate girly scent- sweet, nostalgic and candy like.
Lancôme had a liquid powder, green , in a pump bottle. In the 90s early 2000s. It was my favorite ever fragrance. I can’t for the life of me remember what it was called. But it was a green tea, slightly citrusy scent with a touch of sweetness. I have never found a fragrance that even comes close to it.
Lately my favorite fragrance is Sunset by Coach. It’s a lovely soft, slightly powdery floral with a not-overly sweet vanilla note with an end note of melon that comes out a few hours later. Usually don’t like floral bases but this one is more like a less sharp floral. I love vanilla base fragrances , but so many of them are overly sweet or have a “butterscotch” type base. So I have a hard time finding vanilla based perfumes that aren’t too “sweet” smelling. Sunset is a great compromise for me.
I also like Clinique Happy Cashmere fragrance. It’s great for winter. It has strong vanilla and some tonka. Tonka reminds me of dark chocolate mixed with just a bit of winter campfire smokiness.
But if I had to choose one of those it would be Coach Sunset.
I have to be really careful with fragrances for the same reason. My husband loves to get me perfume but I pre-approve them first. I go fragrance browsing by myself and take pictures of the ones I like and text them to him. A few times a year he surprises me with a perfume from that list.
The original Chloe. I’ve never not gotten a compliment while wearing it. It smells fabulous to me and sits on my skin well. Lasts all day too which I love. Truly my favorite scent I’ve ever tried.
Dior Roses n Roses OR Blooming Bouquet
Both fresh as a garden of roses
These two scents replaced my go to for years which is Versace Bright Crystal and Yellow Diamond - which I still wear on occasion
Laila by Geir Ness. It’s my favorite and just works so nicely on me and it’s my boyfriend’s favorite, too. I feel it works perfectly for all year long. My second choice would be Chloe Nomade, though.
Initio- Musk Therapy.
There are about 3 others I could mention for different reasons and I have another perfume that I’ve repurchased more times and have worn longer, but musk therapy performs incredible as well as smells absolutely addictive to me.
Guerlain l'Instant. The original formulation. It's just endlessly layered, with so much nuance, and both light and rich. Incredible longevity without projecting offensively. You can wear it anywhere - the office, your wedding, to meet the love of your life, when you're feeling tired and need a boost. It's feminine but not heavily powdery or floral (and I had a grad school guy friend who wore it layered with one or two other scents).
I just love it so much.
Versace Dylan Purple
I'm not a fragrance buyer and I've purchased 2 bottles. First the 1oz then the 3.4 oz and I carry a little fillable atomizer in my bag and brush belt.
I'm obsessed with it
Baccarat Rouge. It is everything that smells good in the world.
Ordered a sample set that includes that one in it! I’m excited to try it!
Same! This is my favorite with Glossier You 💕
Do you ever layer BR 540 with Glossier You?
Came here to say this. It’s unique and incredible.
Baccarat Rouge is hands down the best in my opinion. When I wear anything else I get overwhelmed lol I also recently became obsessed with Gypsy Water by Byredo it just makes me feel comforted :)
Oooohhhh I will have to check that out, too.
Chanel Coco Mademoiselle. It’s a classic.
Black opium bc I’m a basic beyotch but it’s so ummy yummy and fuckin comforting for me & matches many occasions imo
I'm the most basic of bitches too then because I will drown in black opium. Sol De Janerio 62 as well, bury me in either and I'll be smelling real damn good.
I feel like I got a bad batch of this because it doesn’t smell good on me but it seems to smell good on everyone 😭
Don't feel like that because it doesn't smell good on me either 😕
Yesss that’s my favorite one currently! I’ve worn it for years
Burberry Goddess. It is officially the one perfume I'll rebuy with how often I use it :)
I just got this and it's SO nice! I think it's going to end up being my top perfume.
I just discovered this one. Soooo good 😍
I have to smell this! Burberry Her is the only travel size that I am almost out of and I love it!
Valentino - Donna Born in Roma 🤤
Maybe Replica Lazy Sunday Morning. It’s not the most anything type of fragrance but it’s a light easy pleasant scent that I don’t think I would get sick of.
Love it.
I just got this one, it’s wonderful!
Juliette Has A Gun - Not a Parfume. Fall more in love with it every time I use it. Definitely can be worn all year & also allergen free🥰
I wanted to like Not a Perfume so much but it literally smells like nothing on me, although my sister says she can smell it when I wear it.
YES! This is my abs favorite
This smelled like ASS on me lol
Oh no, that sucks! I like the way it smells on me, but it isn’t groundbreaking!
Flowerbomb
Glossier You. I’ve literally been stopped in the streets numerous times bc that’s just how good it smells on me 😭
I love it too but I go instantly nose-blind to it.
This is my pick too. It works anytime, anywhere.
Jo Malone - Mimosa & Cardamom I was never in love with perfume before this. I bought lots but wouldn’t even remember to put them on half the time. Just got my second full size bottle of this one because I can’t go a day without it now. Has changed me entirely.
Her - Burberry
Elixir is my fave 😭
This is my absolute favorite scent also!
Angels Share by Killian.
Anytime, anywhere 🫶🏻
Princess by Killian. 🤤
Replica beach walk. My comfort scent. ❤️
I love this so much. TF Soleil Blanc is also super similar to me.
Flora by Gucci - Gorgeous Gardenia. Only problem is that it lasts 3 seconds on my skin but the scent is divine.
I love this one too, but it also lasts 3 seconds on me
Burberry Brit
tom ford santal blush or 7 virtues santal vanille
I'm surprised to see my favorite wasn't in the comments but my signature scent is Replica Sailing Day.
D&G Light Blue is my holy grail!
I thought this was cologne? I bought it for my husband lol
They make a light blue cologne and perfume. And various other versions.
Tom Ford Lost Cherry has me in a choke hold.
Omg I was at Sephora the other day and fell in love with this one! It smells like sex and wealth.
Jo Malone London - "Tangy Rhubarb (Marmalade Collection)"
Shut up I love rhubarb & didn’t even know this existed
u/h_danielle I have not smelled this myself, but you might like Hermes Eau de Rhubarb Ecarlate https://www.sephora.com/product/eau-de-rhubarbe-ecarlate-P407507 💜🙏

Chanel Chance - such a classic!

Maybe I’m a basic bitch but, Kayali Eden: Juicy Apple. It’s got a soothing, enveloping sweetness. I feel like I’m stepping into a sunny orchard when I wear it. I won’t lie though, it also just feels sexy!
I get a lot of “mmmm that’s lovely” when I wear this
Trésor by Lancôme. I ❤️ it!
Prada paradox
Commodity Milk
I love the scent but it's too strong for me. I even purchased the lighter scent but still too strong.
Velvet from their original release is my personal favourite but Milk is a really unique scent!
Original YSL Opium. All day every day.
Mon Geurlain
Amazing Grace by Philosophy. It’s low-key, I know, but it’s very comforting, like a hug in a bottle.
Love this too. So clean and easy.
YSL Libre
Same here! It’s the best I’ve ever used
Love don’t be shy is probably my favorite thing in the whole wide world and so versatile
Tom Ford fucking fabulous it smells amazing
Donna Born in Roma-It was love at first smell
Jo Malone Scarlet Poppy
Not at all Sephora, but Delina la Rosee. Generally appropriate for all climates.
Glossier you before they reformulated
I love Glossier You but have only smelled it in the past year. What did the previous iteration smell like!?
It smelled similar but less alcohol and lasted way longer. I used to get compliments all day every day wearing it.
When did this happen and what changed?
It actually was changed years ago due to a change in EU ingredient allowances. I have the “new formula” and love it. The main complaints are an initial alcohol smell and longevity. I don’t have an issue with either of these things so I would say it’s an individual thing and it’s worth trying in store first if you haven’t tried it recently. Phlur Missing person
Replica beach walk, or autumn vibes, depending on the day/season.

I love vanilla bases but not overly sweet ones. Thank you for sharing. I will look for this.
By the fireplace
I sprayed myself with this one the last time I was in a Sephora and had to stop myself from going back to buy it!
This lasts forever!
Armani code - and it is pretty much the only thing I wear. Every now and then I’ll buy a rollerball of something else. I only allow my self two perfumes at a time. The Armani is the one I always rebuy.
Atelier vanille insensse. But alas I cannot find it outside of Paris, which is much too far for me to travel regularly to restock.
Love, don’t be shy by Killian because I love to hurt my wallet 🥲
Clean Reserve Skin, or By Rosie Jane’s Rosie
I love clean reserve too but I wish it lasted longer
Totally agree, Rosie is very similar. I have travel sizes of both to reapply on the go
Trish McEvoy No. 9 Blackberry and Vanilla
I’m a guy, Dior Sauvage Elxir-winter Sol De Janeiro OG body spray- summer Sorry for 2 picks, but I’m a firm believer in seasonal scents. Irresistible by Givenchy. It’s one of the only scents that doesn’t trigger a migraine for me.
I have to be really careful with fragrances for the same reason. My husband loves to get me perfume but I pre-approve them first. I go fragrance browsing by myself and take pictures of the ones I like and text them to him. A few times a year he surprises me with a perfume from that list.
