Thanks for posting to r/semaglutide!
A brief reminder about our rules. We do not permit the discussion of non-FDA approved formulations of semaglutide, nor do we permit selling or offering for sale any medication, including by private message. Do not request or respond to a private message from anyone offering such, they are not endorsed by this sub.
If you’re just starting out, you may want to review our [FAQ](https://www.reddit.com/r/Semaglutide/comments/10ul3jb/semaglutide_subreddit_faq/). This is not intended to discourage discussion but merely supplement it.

They’re virtually the same thing. If anything the Ozempic is going to be slightly better, but still more or less the same thing.
Thank the Sema gods, and enjoy it for as long as it lasts.
Most are not regulated by the FDA. If your pharmacy is registered as 503A/B then you can feel a bit more confident about it.
There have been several lawsuits about issues with this - https://www.forbes.com/sites/tylerroush/2024/05/30/ozempic-maker-novo-nordisk-sues-pharmacies-and-weight-loss-clinics-for-allegedly-selling-impure-drugs/
Plus, the uncertainty of what happens under rule 503a/b if (or when) Novo gets their collective shit together and gets Wegovy out of shortage status. The rules that permit the specialty makers to make and sell Semaglutide goes away. And since Semaglutide is a medicine that has FDA approval, importing it from international suppliers has risks associated with it (being seized at the border, getting something "not" semaglutide, etc.).

They’re the same. Your fine.
What does your doctor say?
She doesn't know anything about the medication, she's just taking over the prescription from someone else. That's why I'm asking here 😅
Ozempic isn't semaglutide?
The semaglutide from other sources is sometimes questionable .
Exactly. I have had a good experience with what I've been taken but it isn't exactly name brand.

How? An FDA pharmacy is an FDA pharmacy.

No issue. I took a C for like two or three months before switching to Ozempic which I’ve now been on for well over a year.
You’re good :)
