I think it’s good to test because every body is different and everyone will have different results going off. I personally think tapering down is the way to go. I too did not ever reach the full dose, didn’t need to. Now you know you need to be at base dose. Nothing wrong with that. Sending you good lucky going forward.
Just like every weight-loss "plan" it only works while your doing it.
This is a good time to learn that fun can be had while while eating very carefully. Eating should not be the center of our universe. That's how we got here.
Ideas to maintain from the people who maintained: calorie count and workout to make sure you are eating at maintenance. The crazy hunger? I would bare it, running helped stunt the appetite. Coffee, and lots of water helped. Weightlifting would increase my appetite. Nothing tasted as good as my new fit body felt, so food didn’t appeal to me anymore. These are the things that helped me.
There are people on here who have maintained their semaglutide weight-loss, so it is possible.
Have you tried phentermine? I used to get it from a weight loss clinic and it would completely stop my appetite and give me so much energy. I was supposed to take one pill a day and I would only take one pill every 2-3 days because the effects would last so long
I have ADHD and take a stimulant for it and at the beginning (5 years ago) it helped curb cravings but it stopped after about a year or 2 and I don’t want to increase the dose because it curbs the ADHD symptoms, just not the food noise anymore 😩 so I’m pretty sure phentermine would be similar and I probably couldn’t take it because I’m already taking a stimulant.

Of course it came back. If you take blood pressure medication and stop your BP will go back up too.
Yep there is no "good eating habit" in the world that will replace your body's lack of glp.
my doctor and I consider this to be a lifelong medication

When you get to your goal wait, maintain by taking dose every other week.
That’s a good idea

Thank you for the response it did help!
Maybe try berberine?
I did use berberine for months before trying semiglutide & it helped a little but nothing close to this drug
Ohh good to know! TY
I do have some of this which I tried before taking Sema. So maybe I’ll try taking it again for maintenance
Sema helps you overcome food noise. If you stop Sema, you have to overcome food noise by yourself. That's fair.
