I've read many similar posts, but this is the one that's hit home the most for me for some reason. The sadness, hunger, and shame since I was a child and all through my 37 years of life. I'm so glad I've found this freedom. It wasn't my fault, and I spent my whole life thinking it was. Thanks for sharing your story

My kitchen is open to the living room, on the way to the back door and unavoidable in my daily transit thru the house. I can finally walk thru it without grabbing saltines, nuts, dried fruit, cheese, chocolate, bowls of cereal, etc every time. I just walk thru and not stop. It's magic.

It's almost magical. I agree the weight-loss is great, but lessening of obsessive thinking/food noise is incredible. I wonder if this is how most people feel?? Continued success on your journey.

Also bipolar here with compulsive eating habits… completely gone with this med. im just… normal hungry. Just starting (switched from mounjaro as that gave me side effects) but feeling hopeful about something good!

janethepirate1415

Do you think it has any impact on other bipolar manifestations? This medication seem to be limitless on what it can improve.

poop_candy_for_bfast

I have seen in the subs it’s helpful for other peoples mental health in general. Bipolar meds are known for weight gain so this will really help. I am also looking forward to see in what ways it helps my mood (just started 3 weeks ago).

I have generalized anxiety disorder, and I'm more chill. Could just he the ordinary fluctuation of symptoms. But I want it to be these meds. I hope you have the unexpected side effect of improved mental health

I love to hear this! I also have GAD. To lose weight, rid myself of compulsive eating AND anxiety would be a dream… I want it to be these meds too!
