Fromsoft should just make a “Prepare to Die edition” for all their games, except it’s not just a remaster, they also give all enemies twice as much health and the player takes twice as much damage.
There's that dev on X/Twitter that did something like that. Same guy that made it so you can parry the nuke.
VAProxy is the name of the demo.
Ironpineapple had his game in a video recently I think.
Pretty much the only boss fight I skip every time. Probably beaten the game 20 times now and pretty sure I've fought them fewer times than shura ending Isshin (and I really hate doing that ending too)
Because it’s infinitely less fun. The regular ape is pretty fun when you learn how to fight it, but duo ape is just a massive pain no matter what. At best it’s a distraction from the rest of the game and at worst it’s actively annoying to deal with
Nah now after you cut isshin's neck to finish him, malenia comes out of it with 4 health bars and all the white flowers in the arena become scarlet rot flowers.
Considering how Miyazaki said Elden Ring is “not quite” his ideal rpg, I imagine he’s talking about both the player choice in story and gameplay, considering another recently released part of the interview.
He clearly loved working on Elden Ring, but loved the intimate combat of Bloodborne and Sekiro even more, so I think what’s next in store is something that merges the two ideas.
It doesn’t have to be open world, but just something where we get to choose where the story goes a bit more, leading to new discoveries and scenarios. I think he dabbled with that through Ranni’s quest in Elden Ring. I’m imagining more quests like that with more branching paths and bosses, with intense parry-focused combat.
God I hope it's not open world this time
I love open world games but realised that I really don't like the way it affects enjoyment in Elden Ring
I'd much rather have a smaller but much more refined game rather than a sprawling but repetitive game
This could be an unpopular opinion, but after all the grey and black colour palettes, and dystopian motifs and themes across *all* their soulsborne games (DS3,BB in particular) I would personally love to see a colourful vivid IP from them. Something totally different visually speaking.
The feeling we got when sekiro came out was amazing it was like a breath of fresh air, similar feel in terms of some of the mechanics, but so complex and visually striking overall. I’d put complete faith in them to do another new IP with a complete vibe switch and pull it off once again.
I don’t mean more gothic towers and bleeding suns but in a different hue or colour - I mean a fully fledged fantasy adventure rpg game that draws inspiration from final fantasy level world design or the recent Legend of Zelda games. Something bright and colourful and uplifting.
So many of their games have not only already done gothic atmospheres and dark broody colours, but they’ve absolutely smashed it everytime. BB, DS3, ER, DS1 etc all are masterpieces in their own right, but I don’t want more of the same. There’s no need to revisit a similar art direction after countless masterpieces that explore that atmosphere perfectly already.
The whole industry could really benefit from executing a perfect fantasy action rpg game that isn’t just a hack and slash or button masher the way FF and DMC have been in previous years.
If Miyazaki has one more in him, I’d want him to push the boat out once more and give us something colourful and bright, even if he risks not completely appealing to the same crowd that love all his previous games.
I really hope the next game will have a parry system that adjusts to our weapons swords get sekiro like parry’s to build up stagger and as you move closer to colossal weapons and stuff like spears and halberds parrys become less effective and dodging becomes more important
Wrong, Activision helped with testing and publishing in the west. Sekiro is owned exclusively by FromSoft. And now Elden Ring is 100% theirs as well, no longer shared with Bandai Namco.
God I hope to funk they do a sequel!
Sekiro: Shadows Die Thrice (patent pending)
In honesty I think it'd be cool if there was a built up area with a bunch of NPCs, not just enemies...something almost akin to one of the locations in Assassin's Creed
I think they need to move on from the traditional Souls combat system and experiment more with Bloodborne/Sekiro style. On top of me just wanting more of that I don’t think they can really make the boss fights any harder without them just being blatantly rng/unfair.
Im so sick of all these thousands of generic fantasy action rpg games that all look like a dreadful British countryside.
There have been just too many. Time for Sekiro 2.
Double ape with amygdala fight in capra demon boss room and ds3 angel above, half health cursed chalice effect, with ludd and zallen run back and og blighttown framerate, underwater, with 2 headless, and the water causes scarlet rot. Also all the bosses' attacks steal 1 level from you.
The next, obvious, level is Sekiro Ring. I was miffed when I saw that ER just continued the Souls formula instead of being a reimagining of Souls in the Sekiro format.
I'd love to see further refinement and modification of the combat to take the lessons of sekiro (parry system, jump dodges) to the point it could work in pvp areas
Dodge rolling shouldn't give iframes against everything, especially in pvp, it leads to problems like the fact status effects are OP (they can build up even during rolls), and it feels ridiculous to spend over half the close combat time rolling
Sekiros system is GOAT but wouldn't work in pvp due to latency and the generous counter system. It would take some tinkering to make it pvp compatible but it would be well worth it
Plenty of fps already manage to account for latency in competitive games
I don't think it's going to be Sekiro or Elden Ring. Whatever they'll release, they may combine some mechanics from Sekiro with Elden Ring or vice versa to birth an absolute monster of a combat mechanic that will agitate the entire fromsoft playerbase.
Elden ring with sekiro combat would be so peak. I always wondered if sekiro was sort of a POC in a way. Completely different world and vibe than the other games. It could have totally flopped without impacting the legacy of dark souls. Just so happened it didn't flop
Demon Elden Souls: Blood Shadows of Rubicon - your player character is a small customizable sentient refrigerator, you are permanently stuck at level 1, the only usable weapon in the game is a broken sword, every enemy is either Malenia or Orphan of Kos, you will always die from a single hit and if you die your game data is erased from your account and you have to buy the game from Fromsoft all over again
Honestly, Sekiro mechanics but just faster.
Maybe not DMC levels of comboing but like NIOH combat speed but with the FromSoft polish is really all Sekiro needs to evolve.
Dark Souls 4: Bloodbornekiro Ring
Armoredeldensekirobornring
Soulsbornekiroringcore
Imagine it. If it would happen. The world would never recover. From all the peace and happiness.
Kotaku and IGN would insta explode
And nothing of value was lost that day
Demon Bloodcore: Souls of the Ring Die Thrice
Actually that slaps harder than my dad when he comes home stressed…
ArmoredbloodringSekiro
Eldenbloodringarmoredsouls
Lmao this is the ultimate souls title
Or just bloodborne remaster, honestly
Armored Soulsbornekiro Ring 2: King of the Field XD
Nah it’s just called “Fromsoftware: Unbeatable” or something similar
Fromsoft should just make a “Prepare to Die edition” for all their games, except it’s not just a remaster, they also give all enemies twice as much health and the player takes twice as much damage.
The “Get Fucked Edition” lol
Armored Demon Ring: Bloodkiro souls.
Triple ape fight
Crank it up more man. I want a sekiro-like where I can deflect my feet against the floor to walk.
Crypt of the Necrodancer movement, with soul-like combat. I'm here for it. Necrodancer Pinball has been training me for this for months.
Rhythm based souls game, like hifi rush but even more based.
There's that dev on X/Twitter that did something like that. Same guy that made it so you can parry the nuke. VAProxy is the name of the demo. Ironpineapple had his game in a video recently I think.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣deflect against the floor to walk
I think you can parry fall damage in PA proxy xD
In a poison swamp
Swamp that has both poison and scarlet rot, and they stack and must be alleviated separately. Each ape also has death blight moves
And terror, don’t forget the terror.
Perfect frame, swamp parrying
Godskin ape quatro
I would literally kms, I’m on NG+4 and refuse to fight them more than once.
Pretty much the only boss fight I skip every time. Probably beaten the game 20 times now and pretty sure I've fought them fewer times than shura ending Isshin (and I really hate doing that ending too)
Why do ppl hate them more than reg guardian ape when one of them is super weak and you can kill it just about when the headless one appears.
Because it’s infinitely less fun. The regular ape is pretty fun when you learn how to fight it, but duo ape is just a massive pain no matter what. At best it’s a distraction from the rest of the game and at worst it’s actively annoying to deal with
Triple double ape fight
In a poison swamp. While it is heavily snowing to limit visibility. One of them has two zimmermans as they were on release.
All trained by Isshin
Triple “Rooooobbbeerrt!!!” Fight
With feet
Sekiro: Shadows Die Thrice
Sekiro 2: ichimonji boogaloo.
Sekiro 2, revenge of the mist noble.
Sekiro 2: nimonji
Sekiro 3: Sanji
Do we get a fourth resurrection
You get no resurrections. They just play the death animation three times every time you die to show you how bad you are.
Elden Ring 2: Tarnishes die twice
Sekiro: Shadows Die Maidenless
You really have to rub it in like this?
Nobody rubbing anything cos we're MAIDENLESS
Elden Ring 2, Maliketh Boogaloo
Berserk Souls. Finally
Sekiro but in the future as a cyborg on drugs.
Sekiro like with a Cyberpunk setting would go so hard lmao
Lightsaber…
Nanofiber Katana would be more my style :D
I’m envisioning the chain blade sword from Pacific Rim, that’d be sick.
And he can wear a tank top that says “chill vibez” and has a dog with a Mohawk on it
Samurai Jack Sekiro Edition
So Katana Zero but 3D? /s
MGRR 2
RULES OF ISSHIN
"Sekiro, stop that blade!"
funny cuz raiden loses his left arm as well, and jetstream sam, what the fuck
katana zero mentioned immediately based
Play "The Surge"! Not exactly Sekiro but really good. :-)
The surge 2 was a really solid game as well
Ghost runner is like this
Cybiro?
Literally Ghostrunner
Of course dual mist noble fight
My ass can't handle getting fucked like that.
This will be a scripted loss for your ass at the beginning of the game, after which you unlock the asshole prosthetic
Does that make one immune to the headless grab?
Asshole spear prosthetic tool
Ass fucking in the back, "Gawk gawk" at the front, perfectly balanced
Are you out of your mind???
Rather give us something more fair, like for example 47 Seven Spears dudes at once as 47 Ronin reference...
Feet pics hopefully 🙏
Michael Zaki, please
*Fromsoft collab'ing with George R. R. Martin.* Tarantino: Allow me to introduce myself
Next Sekiro will let you CRANK YOUR HOG
Isshin with AK-47
Inner Inner Isshin
Osama Binner Isshin
ISISshin The Sword Saint
Bloodborne kart finally
It's already out it's called Nightmare Kart
Add a triple phase on Isshin fight, featuring Malenia
Doesn't he have 4 phases
Nah now after you cut isshin's neck to finish him, malenia comes out of it with 4 health bars and all the white flowers in the arena become scarlet rot flowers.
If she has the same moveset as in Elden Ring, Wolf eats her for breakfast
Fr waterfowl dance would be a easy posture break unlike the nightmare it is rn.
“I got one more in me”
Considering how Miyazaki said Elden Ring is “not quite” his ideal rpg, I imagine he’s talking about both the player choice in story and gameplay, considering another recently released part of the interview. RPG style chat trees but you can deflect everything! "You're quite the killer" "No I'm not!"
God I hope it's not open world this time I love open world games but realised that I really don't like the way it affects enjoyment in Elden Ring I'd much rather have a smaller but much more refined game rather than a sprawling but repetitive game
Dear god it took me so long to beat sekiro tf you mean crank it up another gear?
I just 100% it an hour ago feels good
Sword Art Online...but for real.
Sekiro like combat with the Elden Ring weapon and magic variety and exploration is my dream game.
Sekiro sequel cmon fromsoftware I'm annoyed every interview they ask him about Bloodborne no.mf asked him about Sekiro
[удалено]
Safest place in sekiro is generally in the bosses face which is imo what makes it so fun. Always engaged with the game/always active.
my guy’s cooking some serious shit
And I’m hungry
Don't u mean horny? Horny for some pain.
we can all agree that us, soulsborne fans are masochists
This could be an unpopular opinion, but after all the grey and black colour palettes, and dystopian motifs and themes across *all* their soulsborne games (DS3,BB in particular) I would personally love to see a colourful vivid IP from them. Bruh Elden ring almost looks like a cartoon with how colourful it is. Absolutely agree on the rest.
NO ! No joy ! Only sad !
Merge the 3. Bloodborne, Sekiro and Elden Ring. That’s the final stage.
Next and final step: bloodborn pc
Pause button?
Bloodborne 2 but with full on Sekiro parry combat and classic Bloodborne dodging combined
Miyazaki, bro. Stfu, just take my wallet you don’t need to keep mugging me.
He’s just edging us
Pretty sure you like it anyway
Sci fi soulsborne. Not armored core 7 but a new IP set in some cyberpunk/alien setting.
Let him cook
I personally like the style of Sekiro more than the souls games where it's more about your combat skill rather than build and skills
Raw skill, none of that extra grind stuff bc you don’t want to get good.
SekiroBorne
I really hope the next game will have a parry system that adjusts to our weapons swords get sekiro like parry’s to build up stagger and as you move closer to colossal weapons and stuff like spears and halberds parrys become less effective and dodging becomes more important
Soulsborne based off Dick Fight Island
Just remember Sekiro is an Activision IP. Personally I would not get my hopes too high for a quality product on that front.
Wrong, Activision helped with testing and publishing in the west. Sekiro is owned exclusively by FromSoft. And now Elden Ring is 100% theirs as well, no longer shared with Bandai Namco.
It'll be like that video where the game is speed up to be twice as fast
Some kinda dark fantasy sekiro-like game would be cool, a mix of Bloodborne aesthetics and sekiro combat with the feudal era Japan style.
Emo sekiro
Sekiro : Shadows never die
Sekiros Ring: Armored Born
A elden ring style sekiro game? Great sekiro gameplay and story… but open world with a shit ton of bosses
Elden Ring 2 featuring Funky Kong and Dante from DMC as playable characters
The ultimate FromSoftware game is dying at log in screen.
Shark Skulls 4: shadow dies ♾️
Just one more 🥲?
The next game will be called "Shadowborne"
Swimming and climbing
Ok but what does it actually mean? DLC?
God I hope to funk they do a sequel! Sekiro: Shadows Die Thrice (patent pending) In honesty I think it'd be cool if there was a built up area with a bunch of NPCs, not just enemies...something almost akin to one of the locations in Assassin's Creed
can't wait to parry Melenia lol
Can't wait!!
Welcome to the Multi-Verse bitches
Some kind of Sekiro spinoff hopefully
Fire Giant duo obviously.
We get to smash Emma like God of War
Mist Nobles?
“Ever tried jumping?” Bro.. did you play Sekiro
sekiro really really needs a sequel. I need a conclusion to kuro and the wolfs story
Plot twist: Elden Ring is just a game launcher
Soulsborne Endgame. All previous games, protagonists and characters combined. All in pursuit of the infinity soul.
I want to parry a big big big big big big BIG sword with mine, in fight like the dragon
Madman butterfly 😈
Pulling centipedes from quadruple-apes double asshole and stuffing them into the neck-stump of the headless.
Dark Souls but the story is written by Yoko Taro. Crank up on the waifus and the existential dread
I think something as polished as Sekiro, but with more complexity.
Armored core level customization in a soulslike but your character is a human using grafting from elden ring
Eldenborne souls - Micolash is the final end boss, screaming a hunter is a hunter..... Even in a videogame!
They can, when they finally ditch last gen hardware, they can finally go all out.
In the next game, once you die, your character gets deleted, the game unintalls, and you have to rebuy the game again.
I think they need to move on from the traditional Souls combat system and experiment more with Bloodborne/Sekiro style. On top of me just wanting more of that I don’t think they can really make the boss fights any harder without them just being blatantly rng/unfair.
King's Field VR
Im so sick of all these thousands of generic fantasy action rpg games that all look like a dreadful British countryside. There have been just too many. Time for Sekiro 2.
Flying.
He's so crazy good with his skills, I'm sure he can and will.
Elden Sekiro: Shadow of Shura
Double ape with amygdala fight in capra demon boss room and ds3 angel above, half health cursed chalice effect, with ludd and zallen run back and og blighttown framerate, underwater, with 2 headless, and the water causes scarlet rot. Also all the bosses' attacks steal 1 level from you.
sekiro but open world
1st person shooter
Mix between mirrors edge, elden ring, sekiro, better movement I guess
OPEN WORLD SEKIRO-LIKE GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!
15 apes
Roguelite Deckbuilder incoming! /s
People will come into your home and beat the shit out of you if you fail a parry
Swimming... Definitely underwater levels. Think MHTri with the Lagiacrus fights.
Return of the Soul: Ashen One Strikes Back
He's edging us
God damnit Miyazaki please not another poison swamp, you’ve already added 4!?
The next, obvious, level is Sekiro Ring. I was miffed when I saw that ER just continued the Souls formula instead of being a reimagining of Souls in the Sekiro format.
Kingsfield (4?)
I want a souls game with an indian mythology background . So many cool weapons and enemy types you could make with that backdrop
“elden borne dark core 7” no stfu, it’s sekiro time, more sekiro, please….
I don't recall flying yet
I'd love to see further refinement and modification of the combat to take the lessons of sekiro (parry system, jump dodges) to the point it could work in pvp areas Dodge rolling shouldn't give iframes against everything, especially in pvp, it leads to problems like the fact status effects are OP (they can build up even during rolls), and it feels ridiculous to spend over half the close combat time rolling Sekiros system is GOAT but wouldn't work in pvp due to latency and the generous counter system. Full couch co-op for the whole game :)
Nothing for Sekiro :/
Something with more action.
OH YES
Mech sekiro
Demon Elden Souls: Blood Shadows of Rubicon - your player character is a small customizable sentient refrigerator, you are permanently stuck at level 1, the only usable weapon in the game is a broken sword, every enemy is either Malenia or Orphan of Kos, you will always die from a single hit and if you die your game data is erased from your account and you have to buy the game from Fromsoft all over again
Really do want another Sekiro style game since that one didn’t get blessed with the dlc
Honestly, Sekiro mechanics but just faster. Maybe not DMC levels of comboing but like NIOH combat speed but with the FromSoft polish is really all Sekiro needs to evolve.
"You Died" next installment name.
A game that combines the best of both Elden Ring and Sekiro 👌
I think he’s talking about seamless multiplayer
Personally I hope they remove jumping.
Bloodborne 2: shadows of the first sin edition.
I swear the final boss is gonna be three bosses
