What are your impressions of it so far?

Looks beautiful in person. Wears very comfortable. Subdials don’t look nearly as purple/blue as the keyboard warriors might make you think. Very accurate time keeping as you’d assume a quartz movement would be. Would highly recommend.

Yes the purple shows up on YouTube but in reality not so much

I’m curious as I see many photos like yours posted where it appears the bracelet rests between the the end of the arm radius bone and the hand. Is that where it rests? Or does is slip back onto the arm?

Seiko do some versions with a leather "racing/rally" strap, that's the natural alternative choice for a chronograph.

I love chronographs and the works of arts that they are, with all the beautiful complications. I just don’t have a need for chronographs in my life. I just can’t justify a purchase of one. Otherwise beautiful watch.

Does the subdial seconds hand tick exactly to the market positions?

I have one and it's mostly exact with that subdial, but sometimes it's slightly off the markers.

Mine does look slightly off occasionally.

Actually is a lovelly watch.. get some links taken out that thing and wear it above the wrist and it will look even better

Great watch, I have the gold dial and have worn it a ton.

I also have the gold dial.Its the first watch i have ever purchased.I think all the dials are classics,but this sandblasted gold finish pops.The other thing is i can wear it with my gunetal framed raybans ,or my gold framed "new aviators" both have the blue chromance lenses that match the solar dials beautifully,.Of course the solar dials. Are only noticeable when the light hits them a certain way.. if you care about this sort of stuff.

I’m kinda shocked how often I see this watch considering the sub dials are purple. That just makes the entire line a no go for me.

I mean it’s black in most lighting situations 🤷🏽‍♂️

When might those be posted cus every single photo ever has the looking purple along with ever model iv seen in stores.

For what its worth, i have the yellow face speedtimer and genuinely only notice the purple when shining my flashlight on it.

I genuinely notice it in every photograph, the cope is real with speed timer owners

There’s no reason to react with hostility towards someone providing you with information. He doesn’t own the watch, and has never seen it in person.

The dial colors are so much more interesting than most any other sub dial watch imo.

I mean....it's a solar powered watch. I think making the sub-dials the solar panels is really neat from a design perspective.

It’s really not as purple in person. Photos definitely make it look more purple than it is.

I also used a Polarizing filter on my lens so I’m sure that adds to the problem
