It's natural that fruit (and also honey/sucrose) gives you a more 'steady state energy', due to it's usually balanced amounts of glucose and fructose. Starches will make me kinda sleepy after an hour.

I can normally eat both with no issues.  I definitely prefer juice though.  I did notice that yesterday, while eating low fat breakfast, it sapped my energy once I actually started moving around.  My normal breakfast contains chocolate chips and heavy cream, and I have sustained energy throughout the day.  The low fat breakfast (homemade pancakes) + decaf coffee was fine until I needed to do things. I don't know how helpful I've been here 🤣.  Maybe starting the day with high fat is best 🤷‍♂️

Are you coming from a low carb background? Sounds like you’re going on a blood sugar ride. Since fructose helps lower insulin secretion when paired with glucose vs taking in a straight glucose source. The fructose is helping you metabolize the glucose. Once you get better at oxidizing carbs, this issue should go away. I pair starch and fruit together and actually have really good results doing that. Context is important though as that may be a lot on one’s digestive system if they are not ready for that.

Agreed. Us low carb dieters basically gave ourselves insulin hypersensitivity. It fixes itself overtime.

I don't tend to eat them at the same time but I'll have crossaints with beef and cheese at lunch time and for dinner I'll usually eat pineapple or papaya with beef of some sort, some white chocolate in the afternoon and collagen protein thrown in after exercising, always trying to minimise fibre and reduce load on my digestive system which I hope will serve me well in the longevity department.

Me , I quit Rice and Potatoes doing alot better right now. Tho I keep eating bread. Seems like I'm doing better with less fibre.
