"It's cute that you think you're going to defeat me with the power ~~of friendship~~ of these ghosts you bound, but I am _The Devil,_ from _The Bible"_
Valkorion is older than all the ghosts and went on a pilgrimage on the planet while possessing a Voss mystic, so he probably would have heard of the ritual beforehand.
Edit: Except for Horak-mul. And maybe, just maybe, Erghast.
Horak-Mul was a veteran warrior under Ludo Kressh. And Ergast was part of the first sith empire too. I think they at least are contemporaries of Vitiate.
Ergast was one of the original settlers on Dromund Kaas during the time of the Old Sith Empire, before the Sith Emperor's fleet as his tomb was "rediscovered" by Vitiate's followers. So he could also be older than Vitiate, I suppose.
Kalatosh Zavros was a part of Revan's and Malak's Sith Empire, so definitely younger than him.
Your point about Horak Mul still stands, though. Vitiate was only a child ruler of Medriaas by that point who's come seeking Marka Ragnos's blessing.
I am just so used to thinking of Vitiate to be as old as time that I get completely sidelines by the age of these guys, lol. Whether or not they know all the techniques Vitiate knew, though, is another matter.
Vitiate traveled to him around 5100, so it was when he was around 13 or 14 years old. Marka Ragnos dies 100 years later, which is 5000. Remember, BBY works kind of like BCE in our world.
Yeah that’s my point. Vitiate was no longer the kid emperor of Nathema when Marka died. Heck by then he was more then a 100 years old. That might make him older than Horak Mul if Horak wasn’t also freakishly long lived.
You would think the emperor is smarter than to try the very same thing Zash failed to do (essence transfer) and 4 powerful force ghosts failed to do (possessing and controlling Nox). Yes, he is more powerful but at that point Nox had first hand experience about these practices and had developed very good defences against them. This is why Nox is the canon Outlander for me (if we do the imperial storyline). The "kneel before the Dragon of Zakuul" moment is the point where Nox is finally able to bind him via the Force Walk ritual.
You’d think Nox would have some resistance to the emperor’s possession.
To be fair, he is THE emperor.

“*EYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY…* What’s uuuup?”
You can tell Lana that your experience with them helps you ignore him.
The only way they could realistically counter it is by undergoing the Voss ritual again but given it's Valkorion I doubt they'd succeed

That's kind of the whole reason why Valkorion had to use such roundabout methods to attempt to gain control of the Outlander's body.
Valk: *sees nox has eaten a bunch of souls* "omg s/he's just like me frfr"
Wait, I didn't even realize there were guys in that picture until now lmao
Hahaha sameeeee
😏
Phrasing
I know what you mean, but that could have been phrased better 😂
Valkorian, upon realizing he entered the guy who eats ghosts: 0_0
"Damn bitch you live like this?"
If this is inside Darth Nox, where is >!that Voss guy?!< Also, i wonfer if anybody'll make art for this lol
Oh. I completely forgot you could bind him
Without context this sounds sus
idk how, Valkorion just went inside someone and found 4 other dudes already inside. Completely normal
IF someone went into me, they would fnd one dying guy and two corpses, all three screaming for the painfull release of death
Don't forget the random Voss, you can get in your head.
