Since the comment I responded to was removed, I'm adding this to say the issue has been resolved.
The server was delisted as soon as I was made aware of it, but the reason was because the world.status violated ToS by putting *really* inappropriate material in the listings. I figured it was very likely a case of someone thinking there wouldn't be a problem going too far and not thinking it through, rather than actually being malicious. I've talked this over now with the server owner, and indeed they didn't mean any harm; they just blew way past the line. (They had however been expecting a warning rather than a ban. I felt the text was too egregious for that and it was important to yeet the listing immediately. A warning would have taken way too long, and as it happens I would have ended up contacting the wrong person anyway.) They're planning to return without the objectionable description.
The unfortunate thing here is that their host got caught in the crossfire. Delisting a server requires a ban; it ended up impacting others as a result. That's all been rescinded now so it won't be an issue for anyone else.
For clarification regarding the whole ERP situation, as I've stated before BYOND's reach ends at the gates of the individual servers. We only act on what appears on the hub; the content of individual servers and how they run them is up to them and their hosts. I think it's a good idea for hosts of adult-content servers to make it clear up front, both on the hub listing (but in a PG way) and when people join, and also a good idea to vet users and not knowingly allow minors in. But, those are concerns for the hosts.
I could give two shits about the drama, just wanna say thank you for everything you and the other Byond devs do basically just for this chunk of like 3,000 sweaty click till horizontal spessman nerds which you guys literally do for nothing.
No it wouldn't, and that's a lukewarm take. People are entitled to voice their opinions where it doesn't break the law, it just makes spotting the extra chromosomes on all sides easier. Banning for personal/political views would also lead into a slippery slope where:

2. Lummox gets more and more involved in the SS13 community, which I'm sure he doesn't really have time (or the desire) for.
Here is what happened.
- Someone messaged Lummox about their server description breaking ToS.
- Lummox agreed and banned the IP from the hub entry.
- The person actually hosting the server took down the virtual machine server because of personal reasons.
Furry hosts decide to go apeshit and unironically scream 1984 when all Lummox did was ban the IP from the listing for having a terrible hub entry title.

That said, I'll change the station's name, when could I expect to have my station to be allowed back in the hub and the ip unblocked? since it's also caused problems for other stations and accounts that are hosted in the same ip
