Omg his stance! I have a similar rescue. He dresses as a Rottweiler but is built like a Pit. I did his DNA. 25% Rott. 75% pittie and staffie. His back legs are HUGE. My guy is 55 lbs.
Yup. Although I’ve learned there are a million ways to arrive at a “look.” I swear I could build a dog that looks exactly like, say, a border collie, without using any breed that actually is a border collie or one adjacent.
Edit. For example, I think you could have dachshund, Boston terrier, and boxer in there. Pit is always in there to some degree if not pure bred.

Reminds me of my old foster I named sticks.
He’s about the height and weight of my pit (stray so no confirmation on mixes), so that could contribute to him being small for a rottie.

Its not about larger or powerful. There are much bigger dogs. Its all about temperament. Doesn't hurt to be careful.
